An even first half, not discounting the fortunate deflection on their goal.

Second half Vitor did everything he could and the game was there to be won. We just didn't have enough guile or creativity in the final third.

Couple of scares too so overall happy with a point. It puts us another point clear of Ipswich any way which means they now need more than two wins to overtake us.

Andre my MOTM. Super classy footballer and so composed (apart from in the ref's face that is).

Bit disappointed to only get a point but as the commentator said, "neither team did enough to win." Another point and that helps but both teams lacking any quality. We are much much better defensively when teams attack and yet again, our own worst enemies when giving stupid goals away from our own possession. We roll on.

Once we got Menswear off things improved, albeit to Gene - more creative but pretty depressing.

We'll have that. So little quality going forward without Cunha so as Mick once said, every point is a prisoner. Definitely didn't deserve to lose and with Ipswich getting nothing, we're up on the deal. Are they going to make up 7 points on us in 10 games, I would say no, especially if we don't lose at Portman Road.

André was fantastic, not much else to shout about, Sa made a save I would expect him to make from Beto but it needed making. Strand Larsen played like a shit Havard Flo for most of the game and is starting to become a concern. Terrible pass by Agbadou on the goal but he was good otherwise, absolute crap from Doherty on the goal but otherwise that's as good as you get from him, Toti was decent. Munetsi is a weird player, Sarabia did alright when he came on without making it count.

It's no badge of honour to finish 17th but we should.

As a result, not the best, obviously. Can't say I'm too mad at the gap growing to 6, though.

As a performance, not the prettiest, but equally we made Everton look the most pedestrian they have since Moyes got there.

We've got exactly 0 wins this season when Cunha doesn't score.

You can tell Everton were put together by Dyche - very agricultural players. Lost count of the number of times they lost control or booted balls out of play. Not shy of a foul either. Moyes has them organised though.

We were the better side but didn't create many good openings. Andre was fantastic and Agbadou is one of those defenders who instantly calms you down.

Jesus mate, are you okay? If Aggie calms you, you must have more crippling anxiety on the daily than I do!

He's different level though. 1v1 he's not getting done for pace and I don't mind him having the ball. His defensive partners however...

In the position we are in it's a point gained, but that's more a derivative of the awful state of the bottom 3. To be 10 points worse than every other team and happy with that against a very run of the mill side is an issue larger than GON.
Oh yeah, there is SO much work to do. There are easily a dozen footballers currently employed by Wolverhampton Wanderers who come 26th May 2025, I never ever ever want to see again.

This is the here and now though. And we don't get that point three months ago.

Tongue in cheek; I really like him. Reads the game very well and covers dangerous openings before they're exploited. It's good stuff.
If we'd signed him in the Summer he'd have been a bombscare with the GON high line uber press we played for the first 6 weeks or so. It's why on the one hand I think he was stuffed up by not getting the centre half he wanted but on the other I don't think he'd have known what to do with him if he had one

I think Toti looks a decent player next to him too, he brings calmness to the players around him. As a fan, I certainty don't miss the days of watching us under GON when we looked like conceding every time a team, any team, crossed the halfway line.

Toti is a decent player, ideal to have in a bottom half squad. Having him as 1 of only 2 serviceable CH options was the issue.
