Cardiff 0 - 1 Wolves: The Verdict

Almost goes without saying now but thought Boly was class again. Zohore has caused problems for people all season with his physicality and hold up play and he will continue to but Boly more than matched him tonight

All honesty looking at the game especially 2nd half thought we played the better football and created the better chances and the game could have been buried prior to the penalty debacle. Colin is talking shite saying they were robbed no they weren’t it’s your own fault not being to convert 2 late penalties no one else’s.

I thought Zohore was superb first half. 50/50 between him and Willy. Then we took control after half time.

He deserves better than what surrounds him. He has to deal with some truly awful service and generally has no-one around him. Thankless task. He's being turned into Kevin Doyle Max.

Cardiff's football is almost a parody of the Warnock approach, don't even try to keep the ball, just smash it anywhere. Look for your second balls in the final third. Horrific stuff.

Yep. As soon as a midfielder gets the ball, if he’s facing the wrong way his only intention is “helping it on its way” by hooking it over his head. Or the CBs sole intention is to kick it as far as they can. Sunday league stuff. Actually, any team I’ve played in we’ve actually tried to get it down, even on minefields of pitches or bogs.

Only strategy is playing for throw ins, corners and free kicks/penalties by fouls from comings together in or around the box. Horrific

I can't wait for this season's high lights dvd. I haven't ever bought a highlights package but I will for this season!

There seemed to be a clear plan second half not to contest Zahore on the aerial stuff outside the box. A good asjustment as he never changed to stop going for the flick ons and no one got around him to receive them knocked back.

I won't try to defend Warnock as he's shot himself in the foot tonight with his classless comments. His team play to his players strengths though and he wrings every last drop out of them (I thought Zahore and Patterson played well).

I even thought we rode our luck in the first half but second we were different class bar the last 10 minutes when we seem to fall apart mentally after the Costa miss.

But fuck it, what a feeling to win that game and kudos to John Ruddy for that performance, outstanding. How would Jinks like his humble pie served?

This made me smile (sorry Cyber)

Neil Warnock. Here showing why 99% of the global population wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire. The other 1% voted UKIP https://t.co/NoPBpVARmp

Saying that in British football you have to show a bit of class is just laughable. Let’s not forget his behaviour in 01/02 against WBA.
Rightly so the media are dragging Warnock down tonight with his hypocrisy.

My views on Nuno's post match antics haven't changed from last week, although I thought his post match interview was classy. Only Colin could end up giving him the moral high ground, the prick.

Two away games, two very rare games in this league where we are actually probably underdogs to win:

- Win one where you're down to nine men after the referee has totally fucked up
- Win the other where the opposition missed TWO penalties in injury time

Now please. I think emotion takes over in both circumstances.

He tried to approach Colin and the prick spends 20 seconds shouting at him to fuck off.

The handshake is not that sacred FFS. I hear people bemoaning that we don't have any characters in football these days all the time and then Nuno gets criticised, you can't have it both ways.

He is always very respectful to opponents pre and post match in interviews, we don't send teams out to clog away (like Colin has done for 30 years), I'm sorry but this is not an issue.

If only Helder had finished them off, my ticker is off the scale.

You can't act the cunt for 90 minutes then complain when someone doesn't shake your hand one second after the final whistle blows (same for Pulis).

Can't believe they're 2nd playing that shit. As you say even on Sunday mornings you try to get the ball down and play football. Load of crap

Looking forward to him fucking up the play offs like he normally does

Thought Mike Dean had an excellent game really as I didn't notice him!, no qualms with the penalties and he allowed a decent flow to the game which had some meaty challenges, his decision to not award a foul and give a yellow to coady (as some might have done) exemplified his ability to let the game flow

EDIT - The coady foul refers to the very early tackle at the half way line

Literally gave zero fouls. Knew it would be a physical affair and just let that happen as long as people didn’t take the piss.

He couldn’t wait to give the penalties though. Loves the attention he does

I was very calm watching that tonight.

Well....until the last six minutes.

Even after 55 years, football never stops surprising me.

That's why it's the best game in the world.

He had a good game and they're both pens. Coads has both hands in the back for the first one and it's a daft challenge by Cav for the second (just inside the box, and the lino gave it anyway)
