Wolves 0-1 Arsenal: Verdict Thread

He had his studs up but there was barely any actual contact until the trip on the ankle. Certainly not enough force to warrant a red card. It just looked worse on slow-mo from certain angles as mentioned above

It would have stung, but not reckless / dangerous enough for a red card.

I heard an Arsenal fan bleating about Martinelli's red card again the other day.

The most obvious 2 bookings you'll see.

Just because they happened in the same phase of play doesn't mean he shouldn't have got them.

They're still moaning about that Willian Jose one during lockdown as well.

Tbf though the Milijas red under McCarthy still makes me angry when I think about it.

Ah yes, when David Luiz wiped him out.

Speaking of which, Milijas was bad, but Luiz nearly killed Raul by being a reckless cunt, and we didn't even get so much as a free kick, so they can fuck the fuck off.

Oliver could (and probably should) have booked 4 or 5 arsenal players in that melee though.
Still wouldn't have been a red though. It's what makes the Lemina comparison someone says every single time something like this happens irrelevant. It was ridiculous, but not comparable

I mean, I haven't made that comparison? However, several arsenal players did place their hands on the referee. Whilst it is rarely seen, remonstrating with, or showing dissent to a referee could be a red card offence?
