Wolves 0-1 Arsenal: Verdict Thread

Ah yes, when David Luiz wiped him out.

Speaking of which, Milijas was bad, but Luiz nearly killed Raul by being a reckless cunt, and we didn't even get so much as a free kick, so they can fuck the fuck off.
And when they've finished fucking off, they can fuck off some more

If we are looking at things on the pitch rather than at Morgan, Moxey, Shi etc level:

In the same way as Odemwingie was the start of our tailspin down to league 2.

David Luiz started this much more gradual descent.

Personally I think it was a few months before that. The Summer of Fabio and Shi wanting to sack the manager for getting beaten in the 1/4 finals of the Europa League

Yeah but like I said that was at boardroom level

On the pitch had Raul stayed fit, we'd have been OK, and we could have used Fabio off the bench and maybe he'd have developed much better.

Instead we had to throw him in, and the Jose came in and it was all just shit.

(Unless you're saying the penalty miss in the 1/4 is the footballing reason? Then we could go with Bono I guess, and everyone dislikes at least one Bono)

Doherty v Burnley for me.

If he doesn't concede that penalty we make Europa League, based on the dates we played Braga on the 28th November 2019 so wouldn't have played Arsenal on the 29th November 2020.

If you go back far enough, it's always Doherty's fault ;)

I do think we will be playing in League One 2 seasons from now. I think the decline is precipitous from here.

Arsenal truly fucked us over from June - November 2020.

Beat us at home, lost to Spurs, won the most undeserved Fa cup SF v city, got a very generous red card given against Chelsea in the final. Had that clumsy lumbering idiot playing for them when Raul was seriously injured.

Not to mention they single handily kept Villa up lost to them then beat Watford in the space of 5 days.

Look on the bright side: at this rate we only have to wait 5 years before we thump Newcastle away on New Years Day.

At least now I know my hatred of them isn't irrational, it's just that I'm forgetful.

We will be a mid table Championship team I reckon. Where its loads more fun apparently

You may be right, but I have a feeling that once the rot sets in it will be very difficult to reverse. Especially with ownership that will not be arsed about the team, and a whole bunch of players who won't want to be here. I can easily see us dropping straight out of the Championship into League One.

You have to be truly horrific to go down from the Championship. Like Dean Saunders bad.

Look how long Blues clung on with awful squads, awful managers and worse owners than Fosun.

Are we still the only team to have two double relegation?
Three would be greedy.

So you're saying there's a chance?
