He is correct to a degree, Toti flicking the ball on does change the set up and make the ball get to Jackson quicker than a floated corner to the back post would have done. Nobody being within 3 yards of their centre forward on a set piece is pathetic though. It's not zonal as someone would be there, so whoever is supposed to be picking him up hasn't. Not too dissimilar to Brighton's winner yesterdayNo worries though as we have "one of the best defenders of the back stick in the league"!
Freezeframes will never contextualise what is actually happening in any given moment in a football match. Doherty is genuinely one of the best defenders of the backpost in the league. The fact this was flicked on by our own player changes the picture.
