Chelsea 3-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

He's not. Don't think you've missed anything.
Football fans are just a bit weird sometimes.
Some are irritated he celebrated a goal in our previous match.
I wouldn't say I'm "weird". I like a bag of scratchings with my beer. Prefer English mustard to French. Think freemasons are dodgy. Etc. But each to their own, eh?

He needs to battle more, he's too nice. He was pocketed on Monday by Chelsea's back up centre halves, he didn't lay a glove on them.
It's strange, because him and Maguire had a really good physical battle, and his comments suggested he loved that.

But since then we haven't seen it. 🤷‍♀️

The level for being called a cunt is getting lower and lower isn't it? :)
From the Sky clip posted earlier he's talking negatively about Cunha before LL adds his bit. That's the part which has been focused on, but I'd like to see how he got to be talking about it in the first place

Yeah, maybe a bit lazy/strong...but this is 'Keeno' we're talking about, so he can't be far off the C tier with his recent bolshy shenanigans and general Fosun stoogery
Maybe I'm naive but whilst I think he does get fed stuff from Wolves (however, given how fucking weird Shi is, I'm not sure he is that smart) I think Keen's opinions are genuine.

Apologies, I'm being thick, but I don't understand the relevance to the original post.
I think it's odd for fans to refer to a player as a cunt because they celebrated a goal scored for their team, whether they used to play for us or not. I accept that it might be me thats the weirdo.

You'd have to go back to Instone to find an e&s reporter who was independent of the club. By that I don't mean they operate purely as a mouthpiece, but they let their personal feelings get too involved - look at Spiers' Lambert meltdown as previous example.

There isn't any money in local media so the quality has declined. What was once a heavyweight job is now done by lads in their early 20s fresh out of University - Joe Edwards left the e&s to do social media for the dog track.

In terms of Keen specifically, he does get played by the club, whether he knows it or not I don't know - the continued FFP line being the obvious example and he let's personal relationships get in the way of objectivity - GON. I don't expect the local reporter to call for his head, I don't think that's their job, but neither should they be excuse maker in chief.

It's not the celebrating as such, it was the enthusiasm for what was the 5th goal. It cost him a polite round of applause from some and a few pantomime boos from others. On a personal level he didn't drive any emotion positive or negative, just another player in blue
