Bristol City 1-2 Wolves (FA Cup 3rd Round): Verdict Thread

2 teams whose priorities are elsewhere. Be interesting to see if Pereira goes strong again. If he does we have a decent chance.

Should win and normally a big ticket allocation too

If we get on the tv, wonder if they’ll drag Dave Whelan out to talk about that time he broke his leg, and maybe Chuck a bit of casual racism in for good measure

Very little chance we'll get on, I'd expect all of these to be more preferable to ITV and BBC especially if they can show what essentially would be premier league games.

Manchester United vs Leicester City

Brighton vs Chelsea

Exeter vs Nottingham Forest

Mansfield Town/Wigan vs Fulham

Birmingham vs Newcastle

Plymouth Argyle vs Liverpool

Everton vs Bournemouth

Aston Villa vs Tottenham

Leyton Orient/Derby County vs Manchester City

Doncaster Rovers vs Crystal Palace

Blackburn are not in great form but should offer more than Bristol City, they are better. Tricky tie I think but not an awful draw. Might see about going to that one.

Did he? I only say because I'm sure he's never mentioned it.

1 place and 2 points separate them, once you get to between 6th & 12th in the championship it’s neither here or there just a case of how they are on the day.
The home crowd to away crowd ratio will be a lot closer. We won’t be a massive draw for Blackburn fans so would be surprised if they get north of 13k in the home end, fully expect us to fill out the whole end behind the goal.

Happy with Blackburn away. It's a game we *should* win but whether we win or lose it's another opportunity for Vítor to implement his system against a decent Championship team and then take the momentum or learn from our mistakes going into an important part of the season.

Good away day and a big allocation as well which should be fun

Hope it’s a Saturday, if so I’ll be making it my kids first real away day (to date Wembley and Espanyol which aren’t exactly ‘butter pie’ territory).

Blackburn are ok at home with 7 wins out of 13 games. Though they have also lost the most games at home in the top 10 with 4 losses.

But if we go strong enough we have more than enough quality to win there regardless. Particularly now Cunha is back.

It's between the Villa and Liverpool league games, but after this Wednesday we have no midweek commitments until the end of February (Fulham at home) so unless anyone is obviously running on fumes, we should be ok to pick more or less a full team.

I think Vitor set his stall out yesterday, that was a much stronger XI than I thought he'd send out.

One of the better away days, well it was up until I last went in 2012, good away end to add.
Might go to this one doesn’t carry the PL pressure and I’m due a good away day.

I got to see a goal by this man the last time I went there

Indeed. I picked a team with 4 or 5 changes but yesterday was basically our strongest team available other than the meaningless GK switch.

Long may it continue. No reason we shouldn't try and go as far as possible.
