Bournemouth 1-1 Wolves (Bournemouth win 5-4 on pens) : Verdict Thread

I hope Kilman was watching. How to go down like you've been shot after the second lightest headbut ever. (not condoning Cunha's actions btw)

I’m one of those people who will always say “it could have been worse “.

Yesterday, it couldn’t have been.

No one’s paying under the release fee. They can have him June 1st for a modest fee or spend 3 months dicking around only to pay in all likelihood the same price. It doesn’t really matter if he goes on strike, we don’t want him to stay! And neither does he, which is even more reason to get rid, even if there was even a 1% of the “he’s not for sale” bollocks. Everyone knows he is for sale. We need the transfer fee.

Yep the point about the release fee is even if one club fancied being clever and lowballing, they’d be completely exposed by another club coming straight in at the specified price. He’ll go for that fee easily and early.

They let Cunha off after Ipswich, but nobody can have any complaints if they drop the hammer on the petulant prick now and make a real example of him.

It's 12 games since his last outburst, he doesn't have his previous disciplinary record and his shitty apology letter will mean fuck all.

I can understand him cutting a frustrated figure as we effectively declared on 75 minutes and stopped competing and he was asked to do a pretty thankless task. I can't accept him completely losing the plot.

He wants to be careful because for all the gifts he has if he shows he can't control his emotions he'll be viewed as a loose cannon and might not get the move he clearly wants.
I said it after the Ipswich game, don't want him in our club if he behaves like that, my son knew not to do that when he was 5, if he can't control himself they should encourage him to leave, regardless of the money we would get for him (or not)...

Anyone know why Pedro Lima didn't come on in extra-time? Very strange to put Alfie Pond at RWB for 30 minutes, especially as Lima did alright last week.

Because Alfie Pond was put on to basically shut up shop and to be the extra clogger.

I think given the injuries and players running on empty VP saw us getting to penalties as our best chance of winning.
