From what I have heard the referee will be standing by his decision to send off Sako.

Please tell me you were looking for your bad jokes thread?
How the actual fuck can anyone justify that decision?!?!? The cheating prick of a ref deserves sacking if that decision isn't overturned.
Seriously though, I think the referee should admit he got it wrong.
Deeney should be ashamed of himself to say that.
We have a had a few refs in recent years that stick by their decision despite video evidence showing they got it wrong. Is there a serious threat to the ref if they admit to a mistake?
The referee should have admitted his mistake, and there would have been no punishment apart from maybe a week off. However if the referee stands by his decision and the commission finds the casein Wolves favour, then he may well be asked to explain his actions.
So he is potentially making a situation worse for himself.

If Wolves win the appeal, as I think they will, the yes indeed he is.
If he sticks to his guns, then any bollocking / punishment he gets will be fully deserved.
What actions can be taken against the ref or is it just restricted to having a week or 2 off or being sent down a division?
