Wolves 1-1 Everton: Verdict Thread

Not an anti VP point, but the teams immediately above us at kick-off yesterday also changed their managers at the same time who both have better ppg than him. Over a season they'd be even further ahead.

Yep as said we’d probably still be 17th but just in zero danger

I like your optimistic view, and we certainly have some class players, but it's going to take another Cuhna style purchase to make it a reality and I just think the 3 clubs coming up will offer a bit more than those this season did.
Yeah, there is a large dollop of wishful thinking in my post. I like Vitor and really hope he's here next season but like everyone I have no faith in the idiots above him. Serious work needs doing in the summer, could do with listening to Vitor far more than Golf boy

For me JSL isn’t fully fit and will be more threatening for us when he is. There’s a few of them being pushed into service out of necessity rather than through choice.
Ageee with all that’s been said about Andre but I’d I’ll also like to praise Agbadou. We’ve been a far tighter outfit with him in the side and it’s no surprise that we pick up points when he is. Had Beto in his pocket last night and it seemed embarrassingly easy for him.
I can’t believe why nobody has taken a punt on him before we did as he’s a top half Premier League centre half.
Agree about Agbadou - looked quick, strong and composed - my only criticism is his distribution was rather wayward - but, as a defender, filled me full of confidence.

I'm not too worried about Agbadou's passing tbh, he is wasteful sometimes and it cost us yesterday but I like the way he tries to fire the ball into the forward players, it's unorthodox and gives us something other teams don't have from that position.

We're 8/1 to go down with Bet365. A 60% chance and we'd be something like 11/8.

Weird season for a lot of teams, not just ourselves. Spurs, Chelsea and both Manchester teams won’t wildly underperform next year as they have this and the gap between 15-19 will probably be the same as it usually is.

I’m blackmailing Shi into keeping him actually

I thought Hwang looked sharp last night. Hopefully he can stay fit until the end of the season because he's definitely got something to contribute.

If Hwang is to contribute then needs to operate centrally and in the box, hopefully rediscovering his shooting boots
