Truly dreadful player, amazed at the level of support for his return on social media, including the Mix.
It feels like Brexit. You can see it coming a mile off and no one can't tell you why it's a good idea, well, that makes sense anyway.

My first post as the humor on here seems more me. You have to remember some on the mix would defend anything and everything Wolves, we could hire Jimmy Saville and Gary Glitter to look after the youth teams, plus have Fred and Rose West being grounds keepers and they would defend the decisions.

I'd probably rather we signed Doc than Ashley Young? Tough call.

Kept quiet about Doherty.

It's a strange one, can't defend for shit, I would rather have any number of right Backs, including Deutsch.

However, going forward at least I won't be screaming at the TV when rather than do anything attacking wise Semedo stops an attack, by turning and passing the ball back to a Fucking Centre Half. Doherty going forward is half decent.

Doherty going backwards/ defending is a fucking liability.

Be interesting to see how lop plans things, and that is what's so strange, Lop obviously had the conversation when he joined he was the man making decisions, yet here we are chatting about Fucking Doherty

An image just appeared in my mind's eye.

An image of an opening day starting XI in which Doherty is at RW and Semedo is at RB.

I hope that’s that’s just the magic mushrooms causing that image/hallucination.

If it was because of shrooms I'm sure I'd be enjoying it more. Alas.

After that first line GW, i thought for a moment you'd had a text

I think there's a fair bit of revisionism with Doc when it comes to attacking.

After scoring against City, Christmas 2019 he scored one more league goal that season. 4 assists that season too.

When we're almost universally agreed how little he offers defensively I'd be expecting a much bigger pay off offensively to mitigate the former.

I'm not saying I'd expect TAA on the goal creations, just that from some quarters people are overstating what he was.
