Loan Watch 2019-2020

May as well have kept Giles here. Bizarre move to send him to Cov.

Remember to add Hanne, Francis and Hong Wan to your list mate.

Same with Sanderson if he's barely going to make the 18. Shame that these lads have got poor loans.

Dion Sanderson starts for Cardiff tonight vs Forest

Playing at RB.

Main game on Sky. Going to see how many times they can mention Tessa Sanderson. 2 so far and the game hasn't kicked off yet

Cardiff City's on-loan Wolves defender Dion Sanderson makes the first league appearance of his senior career tonight, which will make this a proud night for his family.

Among them will be Dion's aunt Tessa, who knows a thing or two about top-level sport.

Former javelin thrower Tessa Sanderson won Olympic gold in 1984 and competed for Great Britain at no fewer than six Olympics.

So the question is, has right-back Dion got a long throw?

DEAR GOD

Sky have also done the long throw gag.

Rodgers was asked about Bennett not making the bench. He responded by saying he had 3 centre halves in the team and Wes on the bench so didn't need him

As one of those was Fuchs that's stretching the point a bit. Basically he's swapped a stand in the West Mids to one in the East to spend his afternoons in.

Is it me or are Cardiff passing to anyone but Sanderson, Hoilett (sp) a guilty a couple of times now

Don't think they are ignoring just his runs out wide are creating a space for Hoilett to run into.

He has done ok so far, certainly looks decent going forward but fair to say he is not going to get much work on his passing out of the back. Cardiff retaining the Warnock hoof it away tactic

Probably watching with a vested interest, but there was definitely a few easier passes on with him that were overlooked

Ronan's just scored his first goal for Blackpool.

By the way, thanks for the reminder, DW. OP updated.

Sanderson looking solid. Done everything he’s needed to do well. Hoilett is just selfish generally, wouldn’t read too much into that. I would say he is out performing Joe Bennett on the other side, and Jazz Richards is awful so hopefully if he remains solid then he can have an extended run in the team.

Only watched the first half but Sanderson looked a perfectly adequate Champo full back, albeit in a team that isn't really suited to him. I'd say a season long loan in the Champ would be fine for him next year, but hopefully at a team that plays football

Had to turn the game off. Christ alive it was shit

Nice to hear Frank Sidebottom alive and doing comms work.

Cardiff fans loving him on Twitter, looks like he had a really good debut
