Wolves 1-0 Sheff Utd: Verdict Thread

Aside from a nice move for the goal, it's a pretty disappointing effort against the worst team in the league. Yes we have injuries to key players but we still have enough talent on field to cause them more problems than we did.

However, it's a win, a clean sheet and we relegated Sheff Utd, and good to finally see Jose get his goal.

Moutinho MOTM. Semedo also good.

I like Vitinha but he isn't a 10. I thought the sub was embarrassing as it pushed Moutinho into a defensive midfield position and left Traore and Silva/ José even more isolated.

No one played poorly except maybe Pod, I think the game went exactly how Nuno wanted it too.

Our little bit of extra quality showed through.

Fair point. He's a midfielder more in the mould of Moutinho but not sure I would drop him as he has been consistent recently.

People can repeat "end the season now" until the cows come home as if whatever happens now doesn't matter but if we are all honest there aren't many signs of encouragement for next season at all. There is a LOT of work to do in this next window.

Awful. Watching Wolves this season is not an enjoyable experience at all. Our games have generally been terrible entertainment. And that is because of the way we play. Its horrible. If we start next season playing like this then Nuno will not be getting any sentimental goodwill from many fans. We are horrible.
