Shocking again. Three games in a row now, plus we weren't particularly good against Leicester either.

Got to be a concern that we've forgotten how to defend now as well as continued to not know how to score.

A lot of work for Bruno to do at both ends.

That was awful and I'm now fully questioning Bruno's status.

We have no identity, no plan, and not much of a hope at the moment.

As well as we’ve done this season, Bruno won’t be around much longer if we keep playing like this. Has to be 4 at the back now surely

Yep. It’s what happens when you don’t spice up the batch in transfer windows. It’s as much on Fosun as the squad . We know exactly what this squads limitations are and have bemoaned it for months , pre Bruno . We are effectively on the beach for me .

Worrying performances but in mitigation we've had to play Hoever and Marcal who both aren't good enough.

Nothing up front but then we never do have. That's a system thing and it's been forced on Lage to a fair extent.

We almost need to do what McGhee should have done and have a home and away formation. We just don't offer any threat at home. I'd like to see MGW in a 4231 next season.

Wheels coming off a bit, season will peter out depressingly if we're not careful.

Palace looked fitter, stronger and faster than us, wanted it more and got it.

Horseshoe of doom infuriates me so much.

Focusing on positives, some more minutes for Jonny and Neto, Chiquinho was forward-looking and aggressive when he came on, bit of a cult hero in the making? Raul was a little better than in recent months too

Need to start spending all this money the owners have and not just on unknowns. Let's get some certain talent in.

That was crap beyond belief, even for us! How on earth Hwang stayed on the park when he was shit all game, exemplified by unwillingness to shoot first time when put through second half. Poor performances all over the pitch. Only bright light, Chiquinho. But Bruno will no doubt drop him next game and play Dendonker! Shit, shit and more shit.

To put into context now 8/13 games we’ve failed to score at home scoring only 10. Huge problems going forward.
We look like we’ve gone into sulk can’t be arsed mode since hitting 40 points.
Hoever for his own MH I’d recommend he stays away from the first team for a while simply not good enough.
worryingly a lot of us called that it would go wrong before the start. Especially with WB and midfield being overrun. Defence looked an absolute shambles today.
Character and body language of the players was abysmal to. That’s something that comes from the top.
Are we more aesthetically pleasing on the eye compared to last season ? Not really, we’ll get more points and finish a bit higher but I’ve got a feeling this season will fizzle out with some bad results along the way. The big concern is next season and how it will follow on. Frankly I wouldn’t want to play this style of football it’s turgid.

Not being able to score for two seasons and doing nothing to solve it = great plan

On one hand Bruno clearly started out with something different in mind and seems to have abandoned his own preferences for team play; seems lost at the moment. On the other hand, something feels kinda broken about our squad. It’s like Nuno broke half the team from ever being able to attack well again.

Couldn't stomach more than 45 minutes of that. It feels as though something is very wrong with the club at the moment. How have we descended so rapidly from January into this sort of pub-team performance?

Guess it was inevitable that playing the way we have for the majority of the season and scoring hardly any goals was gunna bite us on the arse. Defence was always going to struggle to maintain the form they have to the end of the season. However, while I'm no coaching expert, the way we set up today had the result written all over it from the start. 2 poor wbs (not really Lages fault) so why only play 2 in midfield? Hope the extended minutes Jonny played has done him some good, cos we need normal Jonny asap.
While I don't think it's necessarily the be all and end all, we probably ought to try 4 at the back for a bit, to try and build some kind of attacking pressure.

Just glad we’ve got 40 points already as I don’t see us getting many more unfortunately. Who was it that said we wouldn’t get 50 points and was laughed at? don’t think that was such a daft call afterwards.
We’re suffering from a loss of identity I’m afraid, I think we’re just plodding along until the season ends.
To add Palace have absolutely outdone us twice this season and it was obvious how in the first game.

Chiquinho's raw as a piece of sushi but that might not be such a bad thing.

Jonny was equal parts good and bad but it was good to see him out there again. Not sure why he ended up leading the line so often (aside from we were a mess)

Committing to buying Hwang so early makes less and less sense as the season goes on. Palace's recruitment has been pretty strong recently and we could do worse than looking at it for ideas, we won't though. If Gallagher was theirs they'd be looking pretty scary in 18 months or so.

We should be looking to get players like Mosquera and Cundle minutes the way this is going - we know what guys like Donck and Marcal are at this point, playing them won't give us any significant improvement over blooding the kids some more.
