The thing is it will make sense if one of the smallish clubs gets into early trouble* and they appoint the Count of Monte Bisto in Nov/Dec/Jan. Because he'll probably keep them up, and survival is their first aim anyway, even at the start of the season. Everton was just a terrible fit, they weren't going to go down and he wasn't ever going to change to fit the demands of a bigger club because he only manages one way these days. Of course he'll be a monumental prick while he's saving whoever it is, but you know what you're getting into. He had his chance to prove he could do something different and fell on his stupid fat face.
Moyes seems to still have the belief that he should be managing a top half team. I don't blame him for walking out on West Ham because their leadership is a complete shambles and given that on a financial level he probably never ever needs to work again, why would you voluntarily deal with Sullivan and Brady every day?
*NB - I do not count us in this equation for a number of reasons and even if we did get into bother and we did sack Nuno, neither of which I think will happen, I wouldn't want the gravy swilling oaf anywhere near here.
