The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2017/18

Excellent fit all round,he's bought up in the West Ham way,big name and reputation to blind the porno dwarves, dodgy deals all round, loads of overrated past it players will get signed on stupid money,he'll have fucked it up big time by Christmas, then he'll be saying any old nonsense about how it was a mistake to come back, then off into the sunset he'll go,and leave the mess for somebody else, what's not to like?

Darren Moore set to be named permanent Albion boss, think that’s a mistake personally. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re looking for s new manager by Xmas.

I really like the guy and - despite it being Albion - I wish him well there, but I agree. I can't see it working out - it's not like they've radically altered their tactics since he took charge. It just looks more like the players give slightly more of a shit than they did before.

They’ve picked up results with next to zero pressure on them. Expect an exodus in the summer and I don’t expect them to spend big either.
Apparently the players like Moore and the way he works but that’ll soon lose it’s novelty.

Whenever I hear Darren Moore speak I hear Benny off Crossroads

Moose saying that Manuel Pellegrini will be unveiled as new West Ham boss on Monday

When Deano came in here Henry et al were all commenting “it’s great in training” etc.

But he was fucking shit! I don’t expect Moore to be a bad manager, I’ve got nothing to base an opinion on, but this is a Big job to jump into and maybe slightly too soon

Absolutely no-one surprised at carvalhal going from swansea...

My favourite bit about that was Carvalhal said after the last game (after it was reported he was going) that he would sit down with the board to discuss whether he would stay or go and the board have basically said "no thanks, no need to meet up, off you pop son"

Stoke last week:

Last week, the club's owners said they would continue to give managers time "to prove themselves".

They then said they would review all aspects of the management team when the Stoke fans kicked off. So no surprise they have binned him

Might get really lucky and they do a Sunderland

Edit - there's an ace thread on Oatcake where an ITK posts couple of hours ago that he's gone and everyone takes the piss and calls him 'attention seaker' and 'BS'. Then the first three new managers suggested are Mick, The Count and Moyes. The fuckers deserve all they get.

is it me or is this the season gift that keeps on giving?

You all know my oddities when it comes to Karma etc well ladies and gentlemen I give you Sunderland, Stoke and WBA. Karmic payback on a nuclear scale.

Steve McLaren signs a two year deal at QPR

Moore is a mistake, he won't see out the Autumn. Classic caretaker manager appointment, he improved them because they weren't trying for Pardew, wasn't so much about him, just him not being Alan the spiv.

for me, Moore is better than Lambert
