The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2017/18

Changing the manager does have an impact (unless you employ a muppet):

Jesus, Pardew and Lambert's records...

Stoke won today so he's actually finished with a win percentage of 13.33%. Go Lambo.

Graham Alexander the new manager at Salford with Chris Lucketti as his Assistant

Roberto Mancini has left Zenit and will take over the Italian national side in the next day or so.

Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly agreed to join Napoli following the expected departure of Maurizio Sarri

Not sure if it is me, but it seems bizarre how many premier league teams appear to have management issues currently.

Man City - Pep secure as fuck
Man Utd - Mourinho will be secure, but doesn't appear to be enamoured at Man U
Tottenham - Poch's comments this weekend leave me in doubt whether he's staying tbh, if the club don't match his ambitions, he'll go.
Liverpool - Klopp is safe and content. Still needs to sort the fucking defence.
Chelsea - Conte unsecure
Arsenal - Wenger gone
Burnley - Dyche as safe as Pep currently
Everton - Allardyce contract up. In his interviews he seems to think they need him more than he needs them. Arrogant fuckpuppet.
Leicester - Puel not secure
Newcastle - Rafa unclear on his future
Crystal Palace - Woy gotta be afe
Bournemouth - Howe is the longest serving manager!
West Ham - Moyes relatively uncommittal about his future too. Bit like a scottish allardyce
Watford - Not sure replcing Silva was a good move. Are they any better? Who knows with the watford merry go round!
Brighton - Glad Hughton has secured BHA in the prem. Hope to see him do well.
Huddersfield - Wagner got to be safe for now. They need to improve next year though.
Southampton - Hughes is another non-committal freak.
Swansea - Carvalhal going surely.
Stoke - Coates has inferred Lambert will stay.
West Brom - not sure Moore wants the main gig tbh.

Is it me, or is there usually something like this?

Allardyce still has a year left on his deal. Everton should just get rid of him though.

Technically West Ham don't have a manager now as Moyes' contract expired at midnight today.

Ah, I thought Allardyces contract had expired like Moyes. TBH his recent interviews are a bit contemptuous, and he'd deserve to be binned off (atrocious football too), though if they keep him, I'd fancy our chances against them :icon_wink:

Poch's situation has come out of the blue a bit, and I guess this has tipped the balance, but it seems like 11 or 12 clubs aren't sure who will be their manager next season, which surely affects planning and recruitment etc. Seems bizarre.

Edit, would anticipate that Arsenal want to make a quick appointment. However there may be some suitors also with 1 eye on Chelsea, and now possibly Spurs, which could make things interesting...

Everton fans pretty much universally hate the fat oaf and with good cause, too. No way does he deserve to keep his job, the stuff he's served up under practically no pressure has been atrocious and his attitude...well, it's not a surprise, he isn't going to have a personality change now, the club should have known that when they appointed him and they should have been able to foresee that it would severely rub the fans up the wrong way.

Arsenal should offer Poch a shit load of money for wages and transfers, just for the Campbell-esque whining from the spurs fans.

Sky reckon Moyes is going. Not bad news for him overall, he's rebuilt his reputation a bit after three failures in a row and he doesn't have to work for those idiots any more.

Yep he’s probably replaced Pardew on the merry go round so if he doesn’t get a job this summer he will be the first cab off the rank in October when someone pulls the trigger.

As long as we are not that list really not fussed where he goes

I really hope DW isn't watching the LMA discussion on Sky Sports News right now...
