The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2024/25

Ornstein saying Moyes to Everton is almost done - viewed by TFG as ideal PL survival plus longer term plans

One of my mates is ITK at the Albion and he says think it's Mowbray again.

Luton have poached Wycombe’s manager, Matt Bloomfield.

220 games 50.00% win percentage according to his Wicky page
He’s got good ideas but he’s nothing special really. Imagine most of his wins will have been in Switzerland and Mexico where he was at traditionally big clubs; at Chicago he was… well, that club is a dumpster fire but he became part of the problem rather than part of a solution.

One of those who might be good with exceptional talent to coach, but in the Champo where it’s splitting hairs between 85% of the clubs, I can’t see it working. WBA have probably dodged a bullet, IMV.

His fashion on the sideline is top flight tho.

Bit of a gamble you'd have to think . For a recent Premier League club they have gone down the divisions looking for a Manager rather than looking for a Championship proven one .
New stadium possibly limiting them financially .

A gamble but if I was a Luton fan I’d take him over the likes of Dyche or Gary O’Neill.

If you look at how Wycombe are doing this season it's not much of a reach. If I were a Luton fan I'd much prefer to go down that route than the one Millwall have done appointing "a Championship proven one" in Alex Neill

Dyche will be paid rather more by Everton to sit in his garden than Luton can afford. Same with us and G'ONe

Wycombe doing well considering the advantages that Small Heath and Hollywood FC have

Looks like Mowbray to Albion is about done

"The Albion way" about to make a come back then
