The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2024/25

So Potter gets the WHU job. I'll predict he'll be an inglorious failure there. Always felt he was overrated so now we'll get to see if he really can manage.

They play in a couple of hours don’t they?

What strange timing! There were some rumours earlier in the week but didn't think much of it. Presumably the candidate is lined up.

Would have preferred he remained for this season considering the awful runs he goes on.

Knowing Everton, they probably thought they were getting Potter.

Not even a "thanks Sean" or a "we will always have that lolz moment when we put 4 past Wolves"...nothing.

The media will be pissed off - on the day Graham Potter finally returns another English manager goes. BFS will be on the radio moaning again

everyone’s playing 3D chess, Everton had to wait for Julen to be sacked before they could sack Dyche to get Julen in

Not surprising. Unless the emotional pull is too much then you'd imagine he's been promised a few quid given he knocked us back for not offering enough. Not sure he's what they need, him and Dyche are 2 sides of the same coin, he's just a bit shinier. They don't need someone to come in and tighten them up at the back.

Loppers would do a good job there. His ego and that of Evertonians would mean that it wouldn’t happen though.
