Why do people hate him?Hamilton really is insanely good. So much salt around though, people really bloody hate him.
Fact is, he caused a collision and got double the normal penalty for that. People talking like he rammed him off the road deliberately and tried to kill him.
I know its a cliche but some people seem to love building sportsmen up and then knocking them down when they get successful. Hamilton is focused, clinical and very driven which apparently upsets someWhy do people hate him?
Basically anyone who isn’t a Hamilton fan hates him because he’s won for so long. Max/red bull fans are the worst but basically anyone who follows F1 wants to see him fail as he’s too good. Why do people hate him?
Man United in the 90s, got it.Basically anyone who isn’t a Hamilton fan hates him because he’s won for so long. Max/red bull fans are the worst but basically anyone who follows F1 wants to see him fail as he’s too good.
I kind of get it, I used to hate watching a Schumacher and Vettel winning every week years ago and Lewis has surpassed both those eras now
That’s an optimistic way of looking at it.Man United in the 90s, got it.
Its been the same since I started following sports.....for 45 years at leastI used to follow F1 quite closely in the 90s and went from hating Schumaker to really liking him once I started to appreciate how good he was.
I guess I just find it odd that some British (English now?) don't like Hamilton when he's clearly going to be one of our best ever sporting legends.
For me it's his tax situation, which is no different to Mansell, Coultard etc, but doesn't mean I have to like itA good proportion of people don’t like him as to them he’s essentially an ‘uppity ******’. He wears bling, he has braids, is massively successful and doesn’t give a fuck what they think.
He was universally loved by British F1 fans at silverstone when I was there in 2019, was really nice to see, as all the ‘noise’ suggested he’s hated.
Indeed, but the difference in attitude to him vs those is pretty stark. For me it's his tax situation, which is no different to Mansell, Coultard etc, but doesn't mean I have to like it
