fun race, wish there'd been more going on in the middle. good recovery from hamilton but can understand RB being bitter about it. feel bad for leclerc having engine problems then hitting that slippery patch to lose first. happy to see mclaren grab 4/5.

please never have albon on the pre/post race show again

I remain of the view that Lewis was at fault, but the collective reaction from Red Bull is something else. The insinuation that Lewis has almost done that deliberately is bordering on bringing the sport into disrepute. I hope Lewis wipes the floor with them.

I can see this getting nasty.

Agree with this. Lewis should have backed out but i know why he didn't. It was a close call between racing incident and fault and the stewards call reflected that. The fact that Lewis made no comment when he was told suggests he agreed it was his fault.

Horner's initial reaction was fair enough but from that point they have acted like utter cunts and Max's comments are disgraceful really.

Red Bull milking this incident to the extreme. Clearly the first team to ever have a car go off the track and get totalled.

Now giving us the invoices for the damage - £1.3m for those counting but its ok they are going are going to let their racing do the talking rather than going on and on and on and putting in appeal against the punishment given to Lewis

Going back a week and a bit, you remember how Brundle et al kept correcting themselves away from "Sprint Race" as that's not its name; and how folk made a massive song and dance over it being "Sprint Qualifying" or "The Sprint"?

Well, let's see what the FIA call it...

Ross Brawn admitted that they need to clear up the wording for the title of the Sprint Race, so there's no ambiguity.

Stewards have told Red Bull to stick their appeal.
Should equal 4 more days of Horner talking shite.

They are just going to crash into each other loads aren’t they.

Max might go back to his old ways but he would be stupid to do that as the title is his to lose this year.
Lewis will probably think twice about backing out, like he did in Spain earlier this season

Prost v Senna here we come. I fully expect Lewis to put his car in a place where Max decides whether there will be an accident and see if he has got in his head.

And Horner will cry like a fucking baby for the rest of the season. Absolute fucking prat.

I presume the comments that concered the Stewards were Red Bull saying Hamilton wanted to ram Max off the road
