Some spectacular work from Karen Horner* today

On the racist abuse aimed at Hamilton
"Of course we don’t condone that..................but Max received abuse as well by the way.”
Da fuck has that got to do with anything. Once you finished the bit about not condoning it, shut up. No need for anything else. Very close to the "I'm not racist....but" field there Christian

Also had to sack someone for sending racist comments via WhatsApp

The cunt wears a ring on his little finger, toff.

The F3 race was pretty dull, not much overtaking. Doubt this is going to be an exciting race come tomorrow

Hungary rarely is really. Only the first couple of corners where over taking is a real possibility.

That said, Lewis won there with the extra pit stop and destroyed the field and made up 30 odd seconds on Max. That was prety decent

I really like the layout of the circuit. Some really interesting corners. But for some reason overtaking is hell there.

Some Red Bull fun and games incoming...

Hamiltons outlap in Q3 pretty slow and Perez is denied a final lap.

So Lewis Pole then Bottas & Max.

Merc starting on the mediums, rest on the softs

Lewis on pole by miles. And also backed up Max to try and stop him getting a final lap in. Max scraped in but Perez missed it.

Lewis not popular in Buda then! Guess calling their Government out this week has annoyed the locals.

Time to build/rebuild tracks to make overtaking easier..having said that the better teams with faster cars would just win every race..hard nut to crack right there

There are great tracks with tons of overtaking opportunities. Silverstone, Spa, Bahrain, Austin, Austria immediately spring to mind. There are others where it is difficult. Hungary and Yas Marina. The rest are somewhere in the middle.

And the outlier is Monaco. Which is eternally shite unless it rains.

Wait and see what the new regulations do next year. Bar Monaco and imho Yas Marina the circuits are fine. And neither of those are going away.

Paul Ricard is shiiiiiiite too but it's not like Magny-Cours was any better. Basically, France need to build a proper track or find a way to adapt Le Mans.

Oooh. Shiny. I like the look of those changes. Binned off two of the things that pissed me off (the chicanes after long straights) in favour of sweeping corners and a proper chance to fight. Not sure you can really make the hotel section an overtaking chance but we shall see.

The old layout by the south grandstand was total vanity in pushing the track so it would go near the quay where the head honchos superyacht (three times the size of the piece of shit Boris wants) is always moored for the race, to the detriment of the racing. That change really excites me.

Think might have been plenty of spectators a bit annoyed that the spectacle of qualifying, that they'd paid good money to behold, was somewhat ruined in it's finale by the gamesmanship.

Little surprised Verstappen just sat patiently behind him and went along with it though, already been a few races this season where he hasn't been afraid to get a bit racey on the outlap to get a better place in the queue.

It's all very petty.

Yep, sure gamesmanship was the number one issue the Hungarian spectators have with Lewis 👍🏼

BBC are implying that it was actually a Dutch segment of the grandstand
