I guess constantly whining and complaining when decisions go against them is who Red Bull are then.

If the cars could actually race properly then it wouldn't come down to a single all or nothing incident, one of them heeds and has another go later but it's such a farce that you literally get one chance a race to make a mark. It's no wonder there's so much pettiness when the margins become so fine and what should be a commonplace event can become title deciding.

The new regs can't come soon enough and hopefully they make a world of difference.

But he has a point. Lewis knew (after literally what happened a day earlier), if he was behind after the first lap then he was done. Soon as he backs off in to copse then he’s fell too far behind and it’s over.

Gamesmanship from Red Bull is doing nothing to gain them fans. I was secretly enjoying seeing a new name on top even though I prefer Lewis. Now I suspect many will want Lewis to ultimately win the championship, but a tight battle would still be nice.

I suspect Red Bull are protesting hard because they've lost dev time on their 2022 car fighting for this championship, and they know they need a championship. Next year could be painful for them if so, and Honda support starting to drop away.

Red Bull can fuck off. Can't stand them or anything they're involved in and include the red bull soapbox races in that too.
In fact I hope they fuck up so much in development that they might as well enter a soapbox in F1 next year!

What many people won't know is the story of the drink creator's Grandson evading justice for killing a Thai police officer (linky link). If more people knew about that, I think their reputation would suffer more. I only know as I lived in Thailand after this happened.

I kind of liked what Red Bull stood for in the early days, the F1 team in particular was quite innovative with good working practices but that's not unique anymore. And I still find myself wanting Max to do well this year, I guess just because he is the underdog and F1 needs the competition - but I prefer Lewis massively otherwise.

Like others, I'm looking forward to next year and hoping we do get a more bunched up pack and increased intrigue. Even Russell at Merc would help if they still ran off with it, because I think he'll provide significant competition.
