Southampton 2 Wolves 3 verdict thread

That was a really weird interview. He seemed really angry about the penalty being given, it could hardly have been a more clear penalty.

I think it was a bit of deflection away from explaining blowing a 2-0 lead at home

Watching is at the moment is like watching a 90 minute edition of 2good 2 bad except we do the bad first more often than not!

Watching motd it’s a stonewall penalty and if our defenders had assaulted a player like that I don’t think many of us would have moaned to much about the award.

I still can’t get over this rollercoaster feeling . At half time I was downright bloody angry and at the final whistle I would have hugged Jeremy Corbyn .It’s nuts

The ref barely gave us anything yesterday - we went near them and it was a free kick, our guys went down and we got nothing. Do you guys think we’re getting a bit of a reputation for going down too easily? Jonny definately does recently and I wonder if that’s working against us

Great result, magnificent second half. I dunno what nuno said during halftime, but it should be written down and taught in a management course. That being said, we were fucking awful first half. Two horrible goals to concede by two awful players, league 1 defending. I really wanna see kilman start a few more games in place of donk, hes so calm for a youth player.
I didnt celebrate any of our goals, I thought for sure they would find some fault with netos chesting down (like they disallowed his other goals), they wouldnt call the clear penalty and call the handball on adama. Var is ruining the game for me personally, even when it works correctly, ik just so used to being fucked over

Noticeable on our penalty that not one of our players even moved a little bit before Raul kicked it.

We've already played Man City twice and by the end of Feb we'll have played Liverpool, Leicester and Man Utd twice as well, leaving us with a (relatively) easy end to the season. With reinforcements presumably arriving, if we're still in the top 6 on 28/2 it could be an exciting end to the season...

With Boly coming back in for Donck that'll give us a bit more defensively and another option in midfield

Are we expecting Boly to come back in as the left sided of the three with Saiss moving over to the right?

Hope not! He was terrible there last season. He either plays on the left, or not at all. Before Bolys injury it was Saiss - Coady - Boly.

It wad only part of one match wasn't it, surely either Boly and Saiss could be just as effective on rhe other side with some gametime?

Saiss has looked a heck of a lot better on the left of the back 3 than the right where he was poor. I wouldn't move him over, definitely put Boly as the right sided one, he could play anywhere and look good.

Boly doesn`t look half as comfortable playing on the right.

Boly was fine on the right earlier this season.

Sunday Supplement subject of how well Wolves and Sheff Utd are doing, basically Sheff Utd are great for doing it on such a budget. Wolves they’ve spent lots of money and the relationship with Mendes has helped. Plus Rob Harris and Sam Wallace suggesting we’ve hit a glass ceiling and will lose players in the near future.
Jacqui Oatley did in not uncertain words point out that the club doesn’t give a rats ass about the so called top 6 etc.

At least with Jaqcui Oatley on there now she can put them all right with regards to us. Not that I ever watch it.

He meant it was an instinctive reaction. Couldn't stop himself from doing it kind of thing

On sky he told them he "thought Aaron [Ramsdale] had reached it" and if Cook did it wasn't intentional, think he'd seen a replay by the time he spoke to MOTD.
