10 Best/Worst PL Wolves performances

I watched the OG Leicester 4-3 in full during lockdown. It's such a bad game of football from a technical level :D Endless passes just booted straight out of play.

If we're having portions of games then there's a place on the shitlist for Lage's "tactics" against Leeds in 2022 after we went down to 10 men. Long ball to Trincao and Podence, what could possibly go wrong?
For me it was more the character the team showed.

To be honest for our best 10 best PL performances from a technical and skill point of view they would pretty much all be games from the Nuno era.

For some reason Plymouth at home in 2009 & Birmingham also in dec 2009 at home also sticks in my mind as 2 really bad performances.

More recently the 0-4 at Everton was just dreadful & unforgiveable

I think between us going 3 up and about 10 minutes after Albion scored we were poor but the closer it got to the end the comfortable we looked.
After the penalty that they scored, they should have been level within 15 minutes. Granted they were on the beach & the derby was a must win for us

Nah, it was a Stephen ward masterclass
He was great but that day was Hunt putting in every lost drop he had left. He was everywhere. Scored that goal v Blackburn but after that was totally finished

I tend to work off emotion rather than technical brilliance / incompetence

Happiest
1-0 v Utd under Jones. Wolves beat Man Utd, unthinkable at that point for 20 odd years
3-2 v Man City under Nuno, last minute winner against the best team in the country

Angriest
Rennie at home to Bolton under Jones. Where does incompetent run into something else?

Home against Leeds under Lage. The worst managerial in game performance I've seen in 40 odd years

All I know is that the 3-2 against City in 2019 is the best, most exciting game of football that I've ever attended, and it's not particularly close.

There have been great moments since, and god only knows that there were great moments before, but that's the absolute apex of my 30 years supporting the club.
