They deservedly got pelters after the first half.
This thing that we cannot moan when the performance is below the standards the players have set is ridiculous.
When we play well they get the plaudits when the play bad they get moaned at.
I am sure the staff do the same

Savage result by the way!

I missed the whole thing as was out shopping w the missus, but once I saw we were two down, I thought that was that.

So I'm thrilled that we took all 3 points from there, and looking forward to MOTD

Oh and is it wrong that among my first thoughts at full time were

Fuck you lawro you got that wrong and

Bet we aren’t last on motd!

Seeing as no one else has won so far (though Newcastle have now) then we should be on earlier than usual - will start watching then

I think Lawro's guest had us to win 4-2. He wasn't far off!

Fuck. Me. We are first on Motd

Given that we came back from 2 down & there are 5 goals in the match then thats not that surprising - only ones that I might have thought came ahead was the Newcastle win over Chelsea or City being held at home.

Doesn’t stop them normally, I can’t remember the last time a Sky 6 team game wasn’t on first. Not that I actually watch it very often tbf.

Normally watch it on Sunday morning - well I'm getting on so can't usually be bothered to wait up for us to appear on Sat night

Was very intrigued by how our front 3 played. Started Adama on the left and Neto right, then they swapped but Raul kept moving out to the wing and in the 1st half it didn't work. 2nd half, with Neto supposedly slightly withdrawn, they were everywhere and it just clicked. 3 forwards comfortable running with the ball, interchanging positions, and not dependent on crosses from wide. Suddenly very effective.

I don't watch Liverpool much, is that how they play?

Adama was laughing and smiling at Nuno.

Well, that's sort of the point of my post. Such ideas are nonsense in our tight-knit squad. I have no idea why people have to search for what simply isn't there.

Because they can’t moan about the result

Christ, PW we're entitled to express a bit of concern. I'm not looking for "something that's not there," I'm simply asking other members of the forum for a bit of reassurance

This isn't Rotherham at home where a 1-0 barely papered over enormous cracks but it is indicative of a team who has been below par playing themselves back into form IMO. With their form and Ings scoring I fancied us to lose today but the resilience and spirit of this squad is unreal.

As fans we can and should just enjoy the win, it's down to Nuno, the coaches and squad to investigate and try to.sort out our slow starts.

I was working today so missed the game and all the updates, can someone explain what we did tactically in the second half? Is it something that may help us in the future or was it more like something that just worked in the situation?

As much as I love a comeback it’d be nice to score first for a change!
