Justin Edinburgh was highly thought of 3-4 months ago, hasn't been mentioned on this thread so far. Shows how the flavour of the month can be. Wonder if people would still want Edinburgh?

On the usual suspects posted through the thread, not sure that many appeal. Not sure I know what the Fosun remit is, and I definitely don't know enough about the foreign names linked. That said, I still think we should take another 2-3 weeks if needed. There is no need to rush this process. There is an Int break coming up - use that time.

I suspect Fosun see this decision as important, Jeff Shi and Sky Sun have been at games recently, so are in/visiting the UK, are aware of what is going on, and that to me suggests this is important to them.

Gills have been tripe for a while now, 3 points from their final 8 games made them miss the playoffs last season (they were 2nd in mid-February) and they're currently on a seven game winless streak.

We should still sign Bradley Dack though, for one thing it would up our collective hair game and for another he has no business playing in L1.

......and for me. He had a 60% win rate for Ajax over a 6yr period. Don't know if he'd come though.

I'd back my dog to achieve a 60% win ratio at Ajax. Their domestic League is normally just a 3 club fight and one of those (Feyenoord) has only won it twice in the last 30 odd years.

Fairly certain FDB wouldn't notice much difference between Milan and Wolverhampton...

Zenga swapped Dubai for Wolverhampton (sort of)!

Christ. I don't want to big myself up but seriously, I can write better than that.

What's your point supposed to be, Tim? It appears to be we should run with a 20 man squad, which is patently utter bollocks.
Ah for the halcyon days of last season, eh?

Wasn't his point at all .
His very sensible point is that too many having an input in recruitment led to confusion.
Makes sense to me.

Yeah, how dare we sign these players that are better than what we have.

Badly written, rambling shitty piece full of guesswork and assumptions. Utter bilge.

People being so negative, who do you realistically expect to come to wolves? We are looking at the the top drawer of those who are available and with championship experience. It takes time and long term planning to attract some of the highest calibrate managers and players. Unfortunately most of them are already employed to clubs of similar stature to us, on very good money. What makes you think we can attract the likes of Chris Hughton? We are still in the early stages of the Fosun project. 18th in the league, with some good but unproven foreign talent, and the remnants of the old "limited finances" squad. Have patience and support the management staff. There will be a future...

I'm disappointed that we're not looking at people currently employed such as Rowett when we clearly have the money to go and get them and tempt them. Why are we limiting ourselves to people who have failed elsewhere?

Offer to double Rowett's wages and he has a decision to make.
