Next Manager chat.

Apart from Wilmots, Silva, Peirera & Pako of course
Nowt for a good few days though, during that time there's been a lot of rumours regarding various British managers.

Could all be bollocks and they could be interviewing Marco Silva right now for all I know though. I just want the E&S to be wrong.

Fosun Wolves are deadly at saying fuck all. Bastard miracle if we get told about an injury to a player.

If Wolves had stated "British Manager only" they would have ran a story on the website, not tickled Tim II's balls and given something to run with. Just to show you where the E&S are - they went with "EXCLUSIVE" on the Pearson talks as if they were the only people on earth to know it...shame the Telegraph were the ones to break that story 15 minutes before them. The E&S could well be correct but what Wolves are doing v what the Media think they are doing will be massively different.

As we are doing this search properly! it would be wrong of Fosun not to look at what is available in this country, if only for Jeff to sit there with Johnny Foreigner next week and say "well we went down this route again because after speaking to various British managers we decided they were all a bit shit"

Damn you and your reasoned debate.

Andy Goram as goalkeeper coach?

Two goalkeeping coaches are surely better than one.

I'd be perfectly content with Lambert. No blown away, but of the British managers available I think he has the most obvious upside.

It's not that obvious because I can't see it.

Twitter seems awash with people saying it's Lambert. I think Roy Keane was in Wolverhampton yesterday (Probably Asda) and Lambert odds have been slashed.

If Fosuns criteria are as reported then of the available British managers Lambert seems the best (perhaps the only) choice with Sam not interested.

I'm not convinced those criteria exist at all. Hope not. Totally uninspiring choice, although better than shite like Sherwood

Despite reports elsewhere about Lambert I understand that no decision has been made yet. Interviews still ongoing today and tomorrow. #wwfc

I think Keane would be good for entertainment value but think his 'management by fear' isn't really appropriate and don't think he'd raise the club's credibility.
