Not much to report this weekend other than unused sub roles for Pond, Tipton, and Griffiths, and Tyler Roberts dropping out the squad for Donny's game.

Campbell and Moulden didn't have games.

All encouraging stuff but I think they're dropping the hint that we won't be seeing him as a Wolves player until 2024/25.

Definitely. Looking at another loan, I would think in the Championship where he can be challenged and do some defending.

A late weekend update!

Ki-Jana Hoever - Stoke City, Championship

Played a full game in a 2-1 win at home to Sunderland.

Louie Moulden - Rochdale, The National League

Played in a 4-3 home defeat to local rivals Oldham. Mad game which saw fans fighting on the pitch. Moulden won't be happy with the second when he parried an easyish shot into the net.

Yerson Mosquera - FC Cincinnati, MLS

Played a full game in a 2-2 draw.

On as sub: Luke Cundle came on for the last half an hour of Plymouth's goalless draw at the Poorthorns, Corbeanu came on after 65 minutes and got two assists (including for a last-minute winner) as GHZ beat Lugano 2-1. Guedes came on after 86 minutes in a 1-0 win at Estoril, while Bolla played a similar amount of time for Servette in their 1-0 away win.

Unused sub: Tipton, Griffiths, Pond, Bolla. Lonwijk.

Not in squad: Campbell, Roberts

No game: Lembikisa (due to floods), Podence (abandoned due to crowd trouble), Chiquinho,

If you didn't know who he was and just watched this game thinking he was a Portuguese randomer you'd be thinking 'that Podence looks really handy, we should probably try and get him'.

Midweek round-up:

Daniel Podence - Olympiacos, Greek Premier League

Played 85 minutes of a 2-1 win at home to West Ham in the Europa League and had a good game by all accounts.

Bendeguz Bolla - Servette, Swiss Premier League

Played 76 minutes of a 1-1 draw at Sheriff in the Europa League.

Ki-Jana Hoever - Stoke City, Championship

Another full game and this time a MOTM performance as Stoke beat Leeds 1-0. Whipped in a wicked ball within the first few minutes that they nearly scored from and put in a great corner that led to the goal.

Dexter Lembikisa - Rotherham, Championship

Played a full game in a 2-0 win vs Coventry. Almost notched a cracking assist after beating his man down the right with some great skill and put in a brilliant cross, but the header from it went wide.

Louie Moulden - Rochdale, The National League

Played in a 2-2 draw at home to Gateshead.

On as sub: Big moment for Ollie Tipton who made his debut coming on after 66 minutes for Notts Country as they were cruising 3-0 at home to Newport Luke Cundle came on for the last half an hour of Plymouth's 3-0 win over Sheff Wed, Chem Campbell came on after 75 in a 3-1 defeat at Lincoln,

Unused sub: Griffiths, Pond, Guedes.

Not in squad: Roberts

Jeez I'd completely forgotten Podence had gone back to Greece!

Benfica absolutely shocking and Guedes nowhere near starting. He'll be back here looking for his next loan club in the summer.

Podence has scored a double in under an hour for Olympiacos tonight.

Full weekend update to follow.

Luke Cundle - Plymouth Argyle, Championship

Played a rare full game and got his second assist of the season in a 3-2 loss at Ipswich.

Daniel Podence - Olympiacos, Greek Premier League
Played 83 minutes at home to OFL Crete and scored a both goals in a 2-0 win.

Chiquinho - Famalicao, Portuguese Primeira Liga

Back in the starting XI after his suspension and played 75 minutes in a 1-0 away defeat. Hit the post with a header early on.

Ki-Jana Hoever - Stoke City, Championship

Another full game for Hoever and another win for Stoke, three on the spin now. Hoever put a great through ball in for a one-on one which they really should have scored from.

Dexter Lembikisa - Rotherham, Championship

Played a full game in a poor 2-0 loss at relegation rivals Sheffield Wednesday. Didn't cover himself with glory by jogging casually back for Wednesday's second.

Louie Moulden - Rochdale, The National League

Played in a 3-2 win at Hartlepool and picked up an assist with a long ball out of his hands over the top of the defence that his striker teammate put away first time to score the ultimate route 1 goal. Followed this up with a flying save to tip the ball around the post just after.

Yerson Mosquera - FC Cincinnati, MLS
Played a full game in an MLS play-off win over NY Red Bulls.

On as sub: Bolla came on for the last half an hour to help Servette come from 2-1 down to win 4-2 at home with a fine equaliser against Luzern. He picked up the ball in an unfamilar advanced left role, waltzed past a couple of defenders then bent it around the keeper.

Goal around the 3:50 mark:

Both Corbeanu and Lonwijk (for his first appearance of the season) came on at half time of GHZ's 3-1 loss at St.Gallen, while Guedes came on for the last few minutes of Benfica's 1-1 draw at home to Casa Pia.

Unused sub: Griffiths, Pond, Tipton

Not in squad: Campbell, Roberts.

Hooked at half time today against Chaves who are probably about League 2 level.

Weekend round-up.

Chiquinho - Famalicao, Portuguese Primeira Liga
Played 71 minutes of a 3-1 win vs Gil Vicente and scored the third, a decent finish from a tight angle after bursting through on goal.

Goal around the 3 minute mark:

Luke Cundle - Plymouth Argyle, Championship
Played 87 minutes of a 3-3 draw at home to Middlesborough and was involved in a some smart play in the build-up to the opening goal.

Ki-Jana Hoever - Stoke City, Championship

Another full game this time in a 0-0 draw at home to Cardiff.

Dexter Lembikisa - Rotherham, Championship
Played a full game in a bottom-of-the-table clash at home to QPR. Got turned inside out at the end and was lucky that QPR didn't snatch a late winner. Finished 1-1.

Daniel Podence - Olympiacos, Greek Premier League
Played 73 minutes in a 4.2 defeat at home to PAOK.

Chem Campbell - Charlton, League One

Made his first start in a while against Cray Valley Paper Mills, from five leagues below, in the FAC 1st round. Played 74 minutes but couldn't get a goal, despite a couple of chances, as Charlton laboured to a 1-1 draw.

Alfie Pond - Stockport County, League Two
Played his first full game ina 5-1 cup win at home to Worksop. Got outmuscled for a header that led to the goal conceded.

Goncalo Guedes - Benfica, Portuguese Primeira Liga.

Hauled off at HT at Chaves. Benfica went on to score twice in the second half to win 2-0.

Yerson Mosquera - FC Cincinnati, MLS
Played a full game in the second leg of their play-off vs Red Bulls. For some reason it went to penalties despite Cinci winning 4-1 on aggregate (@Alan, please explain). Yerson missed his pen, but his team won the shoot-out.

On as sub: Ollie Tipton made his FA Cup debut, coming on after 53 minutes of Notts C's 3-2 win over Crawley, while Bolla came on for the last half an hour to help Servette win 2-0 at FC Zurich.

Unused sub: Roberts. Griffiths,

Not in squad: Corbeanu, Lonwijk

No game: Moulden

They tinkered with the playoff format in a way I think you guys will hate, but it's actually worked out okay.

So, the first official round of MLS Cup is, at least for now, a Best-of-3 series rather than your usual Home-and-Away aggregate. Higher seeded side (based on table position) gets the 1st and 3rd (if necessary) matches at home, 2nd match is away to the lower seed.

So, Cincy won the first match 3-0. That put them up 1-0 in the series. After 90' in match 2 with the score at 1-1, rather than go to ET, it's straight to the shootout. As Cincy won, they nabbed both results needed to advance. Had RBNY pulled out the shootout win, the series would be tied 1-1 and a final match would be played in Cincinnati to determine the series winner.

Watched the first half of the Rotherham game this evening. Dexter loves a leg dangle

You called that correctly.

What's next. After 70 minutes the groundsmen will do a dance routine to entertain the crowd?
