Loan Watch 2019-2020

Wonder what's up with Jordan Graham then, seems odd

To add to Costa-gate, I've left him out of the updates recently as his Wolves career is over. Yes, I know we could have said the same about German Phil but I had more time on my hands then (besides, I had a kind of morbid fascination with him).

Anybody who wants to post about Helder in here, though, is welcome to do so.

Cav's two mid-week goals and assist here. I think I prefer his second goal, beautifully controlled and calmly finished.

Ryan Giles also played the full game in a stunning 3-2 comeback at Accrington. Three goals in the last 15 minutes gave them the win there. Giles had a huge part to play in the first, whipping in a cross/shot that the keeper could only parry off the defender for an own goal.

Mir came on for the last 15 minutes at Charlton in a 1-1 draw while Bright for the last 25 in a defeat at Boro.

Niall Ennis has scored for Doncaster, sounds like a good goal too.

Cameron John won MOTM - Doncaster fans think he’s brilliant

Seems we've actually found a loan that is working for the players. Meanwhile Bright didn't make the bench for Wigan, not sure if that's selection or injury

Ronan has a fractured rib which explains his absence.

Thanks for the goal and injury updates chaps. That really is a stunner from Ennis.

Weekend action:

Ivan Cavaleiro - Fulham, The Championship.

A first full game for Ivan but a bit of an anti-climax as they slid to a 2-1 defeat at home to Forest. Nothing of note in the game for Cav either.

Niall Ennis and Cameron John - Doncaster, League One.

The two of them go from strength to strength, it seems. John was voted Man of the Match with a commanding display in a 2-1 win at home to Lincoln, while Ennis opened his account with a beauty. John also forced a fine save out of the keeper with a header off a corner.

Ryan Giles - Shrewsbury Town (League One)

A full game once again but this time wasn't on the winning side in a goalless draw at home to Burton.

Renat Dadashov, Pacos de Ferreira, Portuguese Primeira Liga

Given a start out of nowhere and played 80 minutes of a 1-1 draw at Boavista as the central striker in a front three.

Unused subs: Mir, Norris

Not in squad:Bright, Herc, Ronan.

Rafa Mir with an assist tonight

Yeah sounded like a lively display from him, drew a couple of saves from the keeper too.

A rare, spotted headed goal from Helder too, so I hear.

Very harsh to blame him for that. Hospital pass followed by worse defending and even worse goalkeeping
He tried to do a clever flick/turn inside the Cardiff player. He didn't have a lot of time because of the pass but it still lost him the ball.

Rodders heading back to Portugal and joining Famalicao on loan
