Loan Watch 2019-2020

From this weekend:

Will Norris - Ipswich Town, League One.

Played in a 2-1 win at Tranmere.

Niall Ennis - Doncaster Rovers, League One.

Another ineffective game for Ennis as he played the full game in a 1-0 defeat at home to Coventry.

Elliot Watt - Carlisle United, League Two.

Subbed after 55 minutes of a 1-1 draw at Oldham after a quiet showing.

Austin Samuels - Kidderminster Harriers, National League North.

Made his debut at home to Spennymoor and was described as looking ‘lively and then some’ by the club’s Twitter. Unlucky to see a shot cleared off the line. Subbed towards the end of what ended up a 1-1 draw.

Patrick Cutrone - Fiorentina, Serie A
.

Made his debut at Napoli in a 2-0 win. Didn't have much to do with the goals, subbed on 66 minutes.

Leo Bonatini - Vitoria Guimaraes, Portuguese Primeira Liga

Played the full game in a 1-0 win at home but played no part in the goal. Had a shot well-saved.

Rafa Mir - SD Huesca, Spanish Segunda Division

Made his debut at Oviedo in a 1-1 draw. Had a goal ruled out for being centimetres offside (sounds familiar). Subbed on 76 minutes.

Roderick Miranda - Famalicao, Portuguese Primeira Liga

Played the full game in a 1-1 draw against Maritimo.

On as sub: Sadou Diallo came on for the last 15 minutes in a defeat at Southend, while Connor Johnson came on a scored the final goal in a 6-0 Scottish Cup win, a first-time finish off a corner.

Unused sub: John

Not in squad: Ronan.

Sunderland v Donny live in Sky this evening. Ennis and John both starting for Donny

forgot to say a kiddie supporting mate at work was very positive about samuels debut for them.

Rafa Mir scored yesterday

Mir scores in Spain (if played as an actual centre forward). There was a reason we took the gamble on him

From last weekend:

Will Norris - Ipswich Town, League One.

Played and kept a clean sheet at home to Lincoln in a 1-0 win. Pulled off a stunning fingertip stop.

Niall Ennis and Cameron John - Doncaster Rovers, League One.

Both started at The Stadium of Light. John will be pleased to play a full part in a decent clean sheet there but Ennis had another blank, firing a good chance over early on, before getting subbed with a few minutes to go.

Sadou Diallo - Accrington Stanley - League One.

Started at Burton Albion due to injuries and played 80 minutes, during which he put a good chance over the bar.

Elliot Watt - Carlisle United, League Two.

Played the full game of a 2-1 win over Walsall and claimed both assists - the first saw his free-kick headed into the path of a team mate, while his second assist was a peach of a corner.

Austin Samuels - Kidderminster Harriers, National League North.

Played the full game of a 2-0 defeat at Boston. Saw plenty of the action but was ultimately frustrated, spurning a one-on-one at one point.

Patrick Cutrone - Fiorentina, Serie A.

Given a start at home to Genoa but couldn’t get on the scoresheet, the closest he came being a volley he flashed wide. Subbed on 58 minutes. Finished 0-0.

Leo Bonatini - Vitoria Guimaraes, Portuguese Primeira Liga

Played the full game in 2-1 defeat at home to Rio Ave. Didn’t play a part in the goal but looked sharp, putting volley just over and a header just wide.

Rafa Mir - SD Huesca, Spanish Segunda Division

Played the full game in a 2-1 win at home to Lugo and got his first goal for the club, reacting first to a loose ball in the box to smash home.

Roderick Miranda - Famalicao, Portuguese Primeira Liga

Played the full game in a 1-0 defeat at home to Santa Clara.

Unused sub: Johnson

No game: Herc

Not in squad: Ronan

Ennis has scored tonight, debut for Ronan too

A nicely-taken goal from Ennis, too. Spun on the edge of the area and arrowed it into the bottom corner. Can be seen at the start of this:

Cameron John played the full game, too, and was singled out for some superb defending in the 3-1 win.

Will Norris played in a 1-0 defeat at Rotherham. Made a couple of decent stops but will disappointed with the goal after he let a shot bounce up onto an attacker's head, rather than just catching it.

Sadou Diallo played the full game in a 2-0 defeat at home to Peterborough. He had two long-range efforts saved.

Connor Ronan made his debut at Wycombe and played 71 minutes of a 2-1 defeat, but seemed to have a quiet game.

Elliot Watt kept up his run of full games, playing in a 4-1 win at Forest Green.

Patrick Cutrone made a return to the San Siro last night, coming on as a sub for the last half an hour of a 2-1 cup defeat against Inter.

BAS could be off to Bristol Rovers, according to the E&S, while Jordan Graham will head to Gillingham on loan if the club can't sell him.

Jordan Graham to Gillingham on loan confirmed

Timmy II saying Burgoyne's joined the ex-Wolves contingent at Shrewsbury, while Giles is about to join Coventry.

Looks like Cov, Shrewsbury and Accrington are on our list of favoured loan clubs.

Harry isn't on loan. He has left us and joined them on a short term deal

Luke Matheson to Rochdale on loan.

Look forward to seeing Giles v Birmingham in the replay... They (coventry) play some nice football.

He won’t be able to play in that
