Disappointed he's off up there, I hoped he might drop to the Championship and would have liked to see Stephenson at a decent "on the floor" team like Brentford (or even this new look Walsall team I'm hearing about)

Indeed, he'd already spent 6-8 weeks out with some sort of injury before McDons assassination attempt. Likable guy but think he'd have struggled.

They weren't going to get games in our first team squad & if they want a playing career needed to move on

Regardless of his inability to hit the net I've never been able to work out what Bright's best position is. As for Danny he'll do a good job with Pulis in a 'Clear the lines, get in the box for set pieces' type of way.
