Loan Watch 2018-2019

Who owns it? I get BT as we had to upgrade to a certain tier to get the kids tv channels other than Ceeb. IF Netflick ever went big on Prem rights they could potentially sink some of there challengers.

The ventriloquist's dummy who also owns Leeds.

Amazon are probably the next big player for PL rights.

Miranda played the full game tonight in a big win for them. No mention of him in the reports so I presume he had a fairly quiet game.

In other (minor) news this week, Aaron Collins came on as a sub with 15 minutes to go in Colchester's 6-0 drubbing of Crewe and didn't do much. He might struggle to get back into their team even at this early stage.

An update from the weekend;

Rafa Mir - Las Palmas, Spanish Segunda División

Started at home to Albacete and played a part in the opening goal, causing the keeper to spill the ball in an aerial challenge which dropped nicely to the goalscorer. Subbed on 67 minutes before Las Palmas conceded a late equaliser.

Christian Herc - DAC 1904, Slovak Superleague

Another full game for Herc in a goalless draw at home. Scott Sellars was in attendance so we clearly think a lot of him.

Sherwin Seedorf - Bradford City, League One.

Recovered from his knock to start at home to Wycombe and came very close to scoring early on, whistling a shot just over the bar. Faded as the game went on and was subbed just before the hour mark with his side a goal down. Finished 2-1 to Wycombe.

Ben Goodliffe - Dagenham and Redbridge, National League.

A full game at home to Hartlepool. Gave away a penalty with a handball for the equaliser and the visitors went on to win 2-1.

Aaron Hayden - Stourbridge, Evo-Stik Southern League

Hauled off at half time at Coalville after being part of a defence that gave away four goals in a crazy first half. Described as 'out of sorts' by his own club's website, y'know the club that is currently playing in the seventh tier of English football. Still, the game finished as a ten goal thriller, the hosts winning 6-4.

Unused sub: Miranda (a tad surprising given their positive mid-week result), Collins.

One day someone will explain why Aaron Hayden (22 years old in January) is still employed by a Premier League club when we've had at least three opportunities to get rid of him for nothing and he still can't make any kind of impression while playing at a level that until this summer, Gary Mulletgun was still "gracing" (as a centre half, no less). None of it makes any sense.

Thanks as always Sedge.

Transfermarkt now says that all of the following are at FC Jumilla on loan:

Ryan Leak
Sylvain Deslandes
Aaron Simpson
Ming-yang Yang
Will Randall
Boubacar Hanne
Donovan Wilson

Some of them played today in their season opener vs Talavera:

https://www.futbolclubjumilla.es/cronica-jornada-1-fc-jumilla-1-0-cf-talavera/

The team:

FC Jumilla: Simón, Aarón Simpson, Mario Marín, Sylvain, Robles, Afonso Brito, Peque, Manolo, Carlos Álvarez, Ming Yang y Óscar Rico. También jugaron: Miguel Marín, Donovan

Cheers DW. Worth keeping an eye on.

To add a bit more, Ming-Yang looked dangerous and crashed a shot off the bar, according to the report. He was replaced by Wilson on 67 minutes and 'Aarón' also left the pitch alongside him; gotta love the scattergun way in which the Spanish use first names.

I was going to have a go at picking through the report but I'm pretty sure your Spanish is a lot better than mine!

Five years living here helps!

Although I can't see myself venturing down to Jumilla any time soon. I'll be living in a place which is a ten hour drive away from next month; almost as far as you can get between two places in Spain.

Sometimes I think your heart's not really in this thread.

Good luck with the move :)

:icon_lol: I'd have to start claiming expenses.

And thanks :tiphat:

Ruddy Jnr the latest player to pop over to Jumilla FC

Cheers Kenny. Added to the OP.

Miranda's starting against Burnley tonight.

Looks like Ben Stevenson is away to Jumilla as well.

what time does the window close today? I'm assuming we're hoping to loan out a few players.

Bright gone to Killie until January
