Loan Watch 2018-2019

At least Mason did have the one great goal (against Blues).

That's my one good memory of him. He was useless in the first half of that game too, missed a few decent chances and his hold up play, passing, and just everything about him was shit. Everyone around me in the away stand was ranting about how shit he was and I was one of them, then straight from the off he took a fantastic touch to beat his man and curled that brilliant shot into the far corner. Unbelievable, you just had no clue he had something like that in him. One of my favourite games to have attended so thanks for that, Joe, but you weren't good enough in the end.

New one for this thread Dan McKenna is presumably going on strike Monday along with the rest of the Bray Wanderers players as they haven't been paid for 7 weeks.

Does anybody know when it comes to loan players who pays their wages? Do the loaning club pay the player direct or do they pay Wolves who then pay the player?

Pretty sure they would pay Wolves as he's contracted to us so he'd be getting the money. Heard someone talking about the Bray situation on the radio the other day, pretty much said the owner is loaded and deliberately running the club into the ground because the site they play on is worth a fortune and he wants to sell it.

Sounds like the tit that owned Wrexham and went out of his way to destroy them so he could sell the land for development

Not our one, a different Jordan Graham mate!

Well no, if I was then it wouldn’t have been in wolves loans would it?

For some reason it came up on wolves news now, my apologies.

I noticed it came up on newsnow actually, easy mistake to make! It threw me at first because although he had a tough year, he should get st least a league one move, hopefully championship (linked with Wigan of course recently)

Rafa Mir to Las Palmas for the season.

Connor Ronan is close to joining Plymouth apparently.

Just realised that Afobe classes as a loan even though he's not coming back. May as well throw him on the list as well.

Burgoyne has broken his ankle.

Oh dear, that is a shame for him!

I remember seeing Wolves fans celebrating on Twitter after Roderick Miranda left on loan to Olympiakos. But reports suggest he has been so disappointing during pre-season that the Greek champions are thinking about offloading him TWO WEEKS after signing him! #WWFC

I'm wary though, his bio says he covers WWE so I find it hard to trust him..

They won't be able to just send him back if that is true, so they will have to sort out a sub-loan for him (like we did with Tex and John)

oh and apart from the LOOK AT ME merchants on Twitter, we weren't celebrating that he was gone. Most wished him well and thanked him for what he did in the 1st part of last season.

I didn't see anyone celebrating that he was gone either. Not good enough for the Prem and a bit of a bomb scare at times, but he put in some decent performances and was brilliant against Villa. Seemed a nice enough guy, wish him well for the future.

Have a hard time believing he's not good enough for the Greek league. Felt he got too much stick as it was last season.
