Loan Watch 2018-2019

A higher level than reports would suggest he should be at, but we'll see.

I was under the impression he was generally thought of as one of our more promising prospects?

Wasn't the Seedorf loan announced last week? Oh my God, I think I may be dreaming the future........

It was being talked about a few weeks ago, on HITC I seem to recall, but yesterday was the first time anyone confirmed it.

Really, they looked so solid there as they were torn apart by one pass ;)

Irrespective of the defending, if you gave Joe Mason that kind of chance against anyone 20 times, I wouldn't expect him to score more than twice. I don't think he ever scored a one on one for us.

Touche!

Really, though, Mason and Price et al. have been really bad this year. Colorado are a shambles and I wouldn't be shocked to see Price moved on after just the one season there. He is/was the manager's talisman and there is absolutely no chance the manager there lasts the whole season.

Don't you dare try and insinuate that Price isn't good enough for MLS.

Don't get too excited. Minnesota are absolutely scraping the barrel of defensive quality. Proper bottom half of League One stuff. Not helped by employing an absolutely clueless manager.
Don't slag the Loons!

There hasn't yet been a league created where forwards who aren't quick, aren't strong, aren't big, don't work hard, disappear from games completely, don't create and finish worse than The Brittas Empire can thrive.

He'll probably just see out his contract here and then go at the end of the season, I can't think who'd even want him on loan. He isn't Championship standard and he's too expensive for teams below that.

Did the Brittas Empire end badly? Must have passed me by.

Only thing I can see happening with Mason is we might, just might, be able to get him out on loan to L1 if we pay virtually all of his wages. He really was a truly shocking signing.
