Loan Watch 2018-2019

Have a hard time believing he's not good enough for the Greek league. Felt he got too much stick as it was last season.

If you saw the Hull and Sunderland games at the end of last season you'll understand why. Was brilliant at home to Villa but then lost the plot.

They won't be able to just send him back if that is true, so they will have to sort out a sub-loan for him (like we did with Tex and John)
I guess Wolves could agree to terminate it, there may have been other clubs interested initially that they could now send him to instead.

We could but I think the story might be a big bag of bollocks so we won't have to

Mir scores against Birmingham

Ben Goodliffe joins Dagenham & Redbridge on loan until January

Goodliffe sent off on debut for Dagenham.

Belated update from the opening weekend of FL fixtures;

Sherwin Seedorf - Bradford City, League One.

Entered the fray with a few minutes to go to make his professional debut in a 1-0 win at Shrewsbury.

Aaron Collins - Colchester United, League Two

Handed a start playing up front with Franck Nouble as the Us battled to a goalless draw at Notts County. Not much to note from his game, apart from his losing his footing to squander a good chance. Replaced on 76 minutes.

Ben Goodliffe - Dagenham and Redbridge, National League

Quite a way to remember your professional debut; getting a straight red for a reckless lunge. Still, there was only a minute left and it didn't really have much effect on the game which was won by Boreham Wood. Misses the next three games, though.

Christian Herc - DAC 1904, Slovak Superleague

Played the full game in a 3-2 win, his side coming from two goals down. Appears to be playing a number 10 role. On a sidenote, his team were eliminated from the Europa League a few weeks ago by Dinamo Minsk, so that will be it for him in Europe this season.

Mir and Miranda still have to wait for their respective leagues to start while Burgoyne, of course, is out with a broken ankle.

From this weekend;

Sherwin Seedorf - Bradford City, League One

Given the second half to impress but didn't do much as his team slid to a 2-0 defeat at home to Barnsley.

Aaron Collins - Colchester United, League Two

Dropped to the bench for a home game against Port Vale and The Us powered to a 2-0 victory. Came on with a quarter of an hour to go and had a low shot well saved.

Aaron Hayden - Stourbridge, Evo-Stik Southern League.

Came on with 15 minutes to go in a 1-1 draw.

Christian Herc - DAC 1904, Slovak Superleague

Another full game for Herc in another win.

A quick update from mid-week; Seedorf and Collins both got game time in the League Cup, 90 and 67 minutes respectively, while Hayden played an hour for Stourbridge and got himself on the scoresheet with a header from a corner.

An update from the weekend;

Rafa Mir - Las Palmas, Spanish Segunda División

Played a full game in his debut, a 2-0 win vs Reus. Got into a good position for their second but sliced his effort which fell to his colleague who tucked it away. An assist's an assist, I suppose.

Christian Herc - DAC 1904, Slovak Superleague

Continued his run in the side with another full game and a goal, this one a smart finish from a tight angle inside the area, in a 3-3 draw.

Aaron Hayden - Stourbridge, Evo-Stik Southern League

A full game, picked up a booking.

Unused sub: Collins

Not in squad: Seedorf (knock)

Roderick Miranda is set to play against Burnley in their Europa League on Thursday after playing in both legs of the previous round.

Apparently he is being played out wide rather than a target man forward

DAC 1904 are second in the league, after 5 games; two points behind Slovan Bratislava.

Never even heard of Eleven Sports. It's great that BT sport seemingly lost the rights to Serie A and have kept quiet about that but still put my bill up per month.

It's infuriating how diversified football rights are. I know its not a given to be able to watch sport but it's so expensive even as a couch fan now.

It's a ridiculous situation. I begrudgingly have BT now but I am not going a step further for this poxy operation (especially given who owns it).
