Loan Watch 2018-2019

Eligible? He is Swiss! Born there, lived there all his life until he signed for us.

Ronan dropped again
Only brought him on with five minutes to go as well. You'd have thought they might have needed all the creativity they could get at two down.

Miranda duly appeared out of nowhere once again to play the full game in a 5-1 Europa League win last night. Another weird selection policy there. They have a good chance of progressing though, joint second with Milan in their group.

Seems that Boro fans like Danny Batth quite a lot but Stoke fans are increasingly less keen on Badge Kissing Ben.

From the weekend:

Danny Batth - Middlesborough, The Championship.

Kept his place for the 2-0 defeat of Wigan and also kept up his record of not Boro not conceding a goal while he's been in the team. Forced the Wigan keeper to make a superb save in the first half then sent another effort narrowly over after the break.

Rafa Mir- Las Palmas, Spanish Segunda Division

Started at Elche but missed a golden chance to win it, clipping the outside of the post when it would have been easier to score. Subbed on the hour and it remained goalless.

Christian Herc - FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda, Slovak Fortuna Liga

Another full game in a 1-0 away win.

FC Jumilla - Wilson, Stevenson and Hanne started this one, with Leak surprisingly dropped to the bench. Wilson scored early on with a penalty and his side led at half time. Yang was brought on after an hour with Hanne taken off shortly after. With 10 minutes to go, Stevenson ventured forward to set up a second goal to secure the victory.

Unused subs: Ronan, Johnson, Seedorf, Mason, Collins, Miranda, Gladon, Randall, Simpson.

Not in squad: Graham, Bright, Zyro, Ofosu-Ayeh, Ruddy, Deslandes (injured)

It amazes me that Bright isn't in the Killie squad.

He was but then dropped to the bench for the game at Ibrox for tactical reasons (they drew) and then v top of the table Hearts (they won). Obviously not seen as good enough when they play a 4-5-1 defensive system.

It will certainly be a test of his character as well as his skill set to eventually gain regular football.

I'd like him to succeed here but I don't think he will

I just hope he finds a club where he can play regularly - once he does I think he'll fly

Not sure that he will ever make it at the top level - has the footballing skills but not the 'thought process' which he will also need.

Capable of carving out a reasonable career though

Connor Johnson has scored for Walsall in the Checkatrade Trophy

...and then got himself sent off just after half time :icon_lol: Ronan got 90 minutes though.

Collins also played a full game last night while Seedorf started but picked up a knock and was subbed after an hour.
