Loan Watch 2017-2018

Ruddy Jnr has gone to Telford for the season

Seems to be a bit of a waste of his development. Not sure what he will get from playing in the Conference North

Seems that hasn't gone through yet. The club have re-issued that update and no mention of him moving.

Mason is back. Yay.

Won't be able to get rid of him this month to some other mug as he's still not fit.

I've been favouring "Jigsaw Mason" since early 2017 tbf

Ronan and Deslandes off to join Uncle Kenny at Pompey, according to Tim II.

A good chance for Deslandes but it's a tad disappointing to not see Ronan involved with the squad, such a talented player. Hopefully game time at a decent level will improve him further.

It is disappointing, but where would he fit in? And to replace who?

Good question. I was in favour of him replacing Price but even he can't get in the squad now.

I suppose it's the consequence of having such a fantastic, injury-free squad. Can't complain too much!

Ronan is ready for regular first team football now and I think linking up with Kenny again is a great move. If he settles in well then we can always loan at a higher level next time similar to what we are trying to do with the Duck.

Aaron Collins back to Newport for the season.

Ronan and Deslandes to Pompey confirmed.

Ryan Leak is back from his spell with TNS.

From the New Year fixtures;

Dominic Iorfa, Ipswich Town, Championship.

Came on as sub after an hour following Spence's red card and Ipswich promptly collapsed conceding four goals in seven minutes. Guilty of wandering around his box for the third then caught out up field in the build-up for the fourth.

Lee Evans, Wigan Athletic, League One.

An eventful 90 minutes at Northampton where he caused havoc once again with his 'wicked and dangerous' deliveries. Game finished 1-0 to Wigan.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell, MK, League One.

A full game in a 3-1 defeat at Oxford. Let his man turn him who then went on to score the third.

Conor Johnson - Telford, National League North.

A full game in a 2-0 defeat at Kidderminster.

Unused subs; Iorfa, Simpson, Leak, Allan.

Not in squad; Graham, Hayden.

The Duck is back as well.

Prince has gone to Angers for the rest of the season - option to buy is there too.

Courtesy of Tim II.

Hope he can get his career back on track. Not a nice spell for him at the club. Walter had no idea where to play him, Lambert didn't like him and he doesn't fit into the Nuno formation.

Agreed, seems a thoroughly good bloke, and not a bad player either.

We've recalled Aaron Simpson for reasons best known to ourselves (can't think that he'll play on Saturday...surely)

An Oskar Buur style wildcard at RWB?

Can't see how warming the bench for some National League North strugglers merits a chance but Buur was thrown in out of nowhere too.
