Iorfa seems to have fallen from favour with Mick. Doesn't bode well for his future with us.

He has no future at wolves anyway. We have tons of CBs better than him already, none particularly old, only going to sign better players and he’d be a bomb-scare at RWB

He'd be a wank wingback, he's got the legs for it but he struggled to produce anything in attacking areas so that weakness is only going to be more exposed in this system. As one of 3 centre halves there could be some potential, should be more than comfortable when having to cover wider areas but I'd worry about him aerially in that role, seems a complete coward competing for things in the air more often than not.

Don't think he'll become anything special anywhere to be honest.

Nuno has managed to massively improve coady and Doc from probably a lower starting point. Hopefully he can do the same with Iorfa.

I don’t see it. Clumsy on the ball, not particular great at any aspect of defending other than having pace. Was good in a flatback four at RB because no winger could get past him. But he’s horrific in the air, not particularly good on the floor, and not switched on in the head. Also struggles physically against anyone who isn’t short and quick. He’s nowhere near as good as Hause. So I don’t see him having a way into the back 3, which is the only place he can play. Might make it as a RB in a MM or Pulis team but won’t make it as a CB for me and not an attacker in any sense of the word to play fullback in a decent team.

I don't think they've really learnt any new skills, they've just been moved positions so now their weaknesses are covered better and their strengths more able to shine.

Doherty still can't defend but he doesn't have to do as much of it, he was always a fairly capable player in possession when he could be arsed and now he's more advanced he gets to do more of that.

Coady is perhaps more of a surprise but he pinged some good passes around at times from midfield, just he usually didn't get chance as his touch would often rob him of the opportunity, now he plays deeper in more space so it's easier for him to do that. He did struggle in early games when he had to do some direct defending, caught out by long balls in most of the early games at least once but he seems to be on top of it now.

I don't see what great footballing attributes Iorfa has to work with to unlock his supposed potential.

Watched the Villa goals and I'd say Iorfa was at fault for both.

Lazy swing at the first, missed header for the second.

I'd love him to turn it round because he was great in that first season but if he's not grasping that chance its going to pass him by.

Ruddy Jnr is back at Wolves. Still basically on loan at Oldham which means if we have a keeper crisis he can't play for us. Can turn out for our U23's though

Dominic Iorfa, Ipswich Town, Championship.

Started at Villa and, as mentioned, showed lacklustre defending for the two Villa goals. Limped off after 76 minutes.

Joe Mason, Burton Albion, Championship.

Came on as sub after an hour but made no impact in a miserable 2-0 defeat at home to Sunderland

Lee Evans, Wigan Athletic, League One.

Retained his place away at Rotherham to chalk up his 150th league appearance. Whipped in a beautiful free kick for Will Grigg to open the scoring and stayed on to help Wigan win 3-1. A fair few ex Wolves playing in this; Nathan Byrne and Michael Jacobs for Wigan and Darren Potter, Anthony Forde and new(ish) signing Michael Ihiekwe for Rotherham.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell, MK Dons, League One.

Played a full game in a 2-1 defeat at Doncaster. Caught napping at a corner for the first. Booked.

Duckens Nazon, Coventry City, League Two.

Back in the team at home to look Crawley after his 'break'. Sounds like he's the focal point of their attacking play, having a shot tipped onto the post and several efforts on goal before teeing up the equaliser. Game finished 1-1.

Aaron Simpson, Aaron Hayden and Connor Johnson - AFC Telford, Conference North.

Hayden and Simpson started at home to Droylsden in the FA Trophy. Simpson was subbed with half an hour to go while Hayden stayed on to help see out a 4-2 win. Sylvan grabbed a brace on his debut.

Ryan Rainey, Chester FC, National League.

Started at home to Dagenham and Redbridge but was subbed off after an hour in a 4-0 defeat.

Ryan Leak - TNS FC, Welsh Premier League.

Started a 5-2 win Vs Carmarthen Town and notched his first senior goal. A tap-in from a cross straight after a corner.

Dominic Iorfa, Ipswich Town, Championship.

Announced his return to the starting line-up with a goal, a towering header from a deep cross to put Ipswich ahead. Stayed on for the full game, which ended in a 4-2 win.

A full game at AFC Flyde in the cup. Had a couple of chances to score but to no avail in what turned out to be a 1-1 draw.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell, MK Dons, League One.

Started in the Cup against Maidstone. Played against sub Aaron Collins for the grand total of 4 minutes in the end as he was taken off after 70 minutes.

Duckens Nazon, Coventry City, League Two.

Started against Boreham Wood in the cup. Grabbed a goal on the half hour, tucking home a rebound on the half volley, then chipped through a delicious through ball for the second. Subbed just past the hour. Finished 3-0.

Played the full game in a 2-0 win over Fleetwood. Provided both assists for the goals, the first a beautifully flighted cross from the left wing, the second a free kick into the area from a long way out. Also had a shot flash wide. Wigan now 5 points clear of 3rd.

A full game in a 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury. Had a header saved off the line.

Duckens Nazon, Coventry City, League Two.

Hauled off after a frustrating first half, missing two good chances. Finished in a 2-0 defeat at Morecambe.

Made his full debut in a goalless draw against Maidenhead. Subbed after 67 minutes.

Paul Gladon - Heracles, Eredivisie.

A full game in a 5-0 walloping at AZ Alkmaar.

Jordan Graham, Fulham, Championship.

Named on the bench for a trip to Sunderland and came on with 20 minutes left. Fulham promptly conceded the winner a few minutes later. Finished 1-0.

Played 90 minutes in a 4-0 win at Scunthorpe. Part of much of the attacking play in the first half but faded in the second.

A full game in a 2-2 draw with Shrewsbury. Booked.

Duckens Nazon, Coventry City, League Two.

Came on after 70 minutes and produced a superb assist for the winner; a perfectly flighted ball over the defence from deep in his own half to open up a one-on-one.
