You are in denial. We lost tonight because of his shortcomings as a player clearly past his best. Endless wasted corners & gave the ball away when fortunately they did not score. I like Moutinho but you cannot live on past glories. He clearly thinks he still cuts it - so arrogant idiot.

Why are you such Moutinho fans? - the guy is bordering on useless this season. Vitinha should have played tonight. Moutinho was great in the past. But it is the past - just as Johnny75 is the arrogant past whose only argument is to laugh! Explain to me what Moutinho contributed tonight other than wasting numerous corners & needlessly conceding possession to put Everton in on goal?

I can excuse Villa and Shit Fans for being so woefully ignorant about Wolves, but fuck me some of the posts on Facebook, Twitter and here are on a par with vile and Shit fans.

We played quite well tonight in all honesty & the kids did well.

I’m sorry, but Moutinho WAS abysmal tonight. It’s not his fault, though. He shouldn’t have played (I said as much) and we’ve been forced to play him in far too many games over the last couple of years because of the small squad policy. But tonight, we had another option and played him anyway - then left him on for far too long - so those decisions are on Nuno and I lay no blame with Joao. I was talking about his performance in this game in isolation.

I totally agree that calling him an “arrogant idiot” is completely bang out of order and I’ll ask that you don’t refer to my comment in the same breath, thanks very much.

I'm not the one who said he was, so I'm really not sure why you're directing this at me. I said he was very poor, never once used the word abysmal. Is very poor as damning as abysmal?

Every single thread is littered with hyperbole in order to make/reinforce points or add levity. If you think that means you can't have a reasonable discussion maybe a discussion forum isn't for you?

Our set plays, pinged in or short have been dreadful this year. A shame as at one point we were leading the charts on goals scored from them (the AI heavily involved in them)

All we can presume that Mon-Fri they are great at Compton then matchday it falls down. I guess because in training, like a game, we can't defend them so we look ace then.

A nothing game that we learn't nothing we didn't already know.

Penalty - yes clearly, but not given so it wasn't.

Am up on Sunday, but that's more about going somewhere else than rural Dorset after 14 months & hopefully meeting one or two others than the actual football.

I think we saw some good stuff from some of the youngsters. It was a penalty & still was despite not being given. You are lucky to live in rural Dorset - great area!
