England World Cup Squad

Rumours that Southgate is looking at Sessegnon for his squad of 30 for the friendlies... didn’t I read an article recently saying he wouldn’t consider/pick Coady while he’s in the Championship?

Bully played and scored for England while officially playing in division three.

Sesengnon was very poor at wolves, I thought frederiks looked the better player.

Fulham were poor all over the park when we beat them tbf. They barely turned up.

Poor against us doesn’t mean he was poor for the whole first half of the season :icon_lol:

Quick, good on the ball..flair..a bit like alexander-arndold but with more goal threat..could play wide left i bet

Time to get excited folks - ITV have annouced their lineup for the World Cup:

The presenters are decent, but good grief, that commentary team

Matterface is an idiot, if I am thinking of the right guy.

Pundits aren't too bad to be fair.

Compared to the dreadful 2014 line up (Chiles in shorts - my eyes!!!) that's a vast improvement. And it wouldn't be a world cup if I couldn't whinge about that arsehat Tyldesley.

Good to see Wolves fan Jacqui Oatley there. Hopefully she bigs up Neves at every opportunity.

Just noticed Mark Clattenburg - has he done punditry before?

He'll do that new in vogue thing of explaining/critiquing refereeing decisions rather than out and out punditry I'd have thought.

Yeah, I kinda guessed that too, but I was just wondering if anyone had seen him doing it before.

He's done it on Talkshite as he works for you are the ref. Seemed fairly balanced, not like Halsey who blames the ref for everything (pick the irony out of that) or Gallagher on Sky who rarely seems to think they make a mistake.

No Hoddle as a pundit!

I can tune him out during the game itself.

Why do they persist with Lawrenson?

I am pleased Motson has retired though - I've never understood the adulation for him, he's always been terrible and has been getting worse over the past decade.

Really good to see Vicki Sparks as one of the commentators BTW.
