Cardiff 2 -1 Wolves: The Pantwetting Verdict.

Traore is one dimensional yes but it's unlike any other . Costa has actually gone backwards with regard to strength. He is made of biscuits. He and Traore have been to easily knocked off the ball. At the moment there are a number of players who are seriously off form too.

It's embarrassing that posters are so bothered about a £3m difference. If you going to label Traore shite every 5 minutes why not Costa who really has been terrible, Jota when he had played, Cav against Huddersfield - which was one of the worst performances I've seen for a very long time.

Its not victimhood, it's just rather pathetic you and others reserve shit etc just for one player.

I'm not overly interested in the semantics of it (if it helps, Helder Costa was absolutely shit last night), I'm interested in if going forward, Adama Traore is going to be a useful player for us, given that we are clearly not at the level whereby we can accommodate someone who purely comes on for the last 20 minutes in very specific circumstances. I'm saying no.

Whether other players are also going to fail to step up to the mark is neither here nor there.

And yeah, I had a preconceived opinion of him, because I'd seen him play plenty, I didn't like him and I didn't want us to sign him. I didn't want us to sign him for the reasons that he's amply demonstrated, he isn't a very good footballer. If I think that in the first place then I'm not sure what anyone wants me to do, wipe my own memory? Leon Clarke got more stick, more quickly in his second spell than any regular £500k signing would have got, because 80%+ of people never wanted him back as he is shit.

ALL of the inside forwards have had terrible games (they've all had at least a couple of good games too). I don't think anyone gets singled out.

There is no way you can frame Adama as having a good game last night, he absolutely did not.

The problem is Fred when he doesn't have the ball. He doesn't look for it, he doesn't chase back (much), he doesn't move into space for an out ball. He literally waits to be given the ball at his feet so he can run at people. It looks great, it's very exciting and at times it works. It's not good enough though.

He bust a gut a good half a dozen times chasing hoofs, and got to half of them. He's our only threat at the moment.

Costa need a rest

I hope Nuno stays, great manager

He is but if he chooses to tough it out with his this is our way and we won't change approach we need results and fast. Chelsea Bournemouth Newcastle Liverpool and Fulham. Not a gimme in sight.

That's fine, got no problems with that at all. As I said to Fred above i have big issues with Adama too, i don't think he will ever be more than an impact sub (have no problem with that for £18m tbh, he's good at it).

I just don't like to see vitriolic abuse handed out to wolves players, never have (rankine aside). He's not done well, lets talk about why rather than just say 'shit' 'stupid' etc. There's also a valid debate to be had about why he has overall been more effective that other IFs. By rights we have the 2 best IFs from last season in the champ - both are not cutting it. Perhaps we have to be ruthless and spend a lot of money - our big difference this season is not have the Jota from last season.

1) You could argue that's part of the problem, he reacts when the ball gets played forward, not before

2) This gut busting did not happen anyway, he ran after a loose ball a bit, as anyone bar Freddy Eastwood would. Then more often than not misjudged the bounce and lost it

We didn't help him or anyone out with our "style" last night, he was not very good though nor is he really much of a threat. In fact Cav was more threatening when he came on, had a shot on target and it was his cross to MGW.

That is the worrying thing for me. 2 games in a row where 8 or 9 players have been plain awful. Thankfully Boly showed his was a 1 game blip. We have 6 options for the front 3 and it is currently - Raul - Off form, Costa - Gone back to Portugal and left a lookalike to take his place, Troare - Mixed bag that frustrates the hell out of you, Cav - Awful on his last start, Jota - Out of form and dropped, Leo - Not good enough

At the moment what we do with our front 3 makes little difference as none of the options are currently working.

Then we get to Neves and he was been poor, not just the last 2 games but his form for the last month or so is a concern. Might be a blessing he misses a game.

Dendoncker must be crying into his cornflakes today. No idea if he will change anything but he must surely make an appearance at some point, although he will probably be on the bench at best v Chelsea.

Timbo has given both Traore and Costa a 4/10 rating for last night, which I think is the lowest mark he has given any player all season.

As I see it, we can argue the semantics of who is worse as long as we like, but Nuno needs to find a solution up front and he needs to find it damn fast, or he is going to be under very serious pressure indeed.

Lets not panic here, we are not going to be relegated or such..Nuno is the man to do this..dont sack him...maybe he can change formation or something ..and bring in a POACHER :)

Don't think there is panic but rightly folk are concerned. We can look at the Leicester and Brighton defeats and at least say the performances didn't deserve the outcome. When that happens you can at least be positive. 3 of the 5 defeats (Watford, Huddersfield & Cardiff) we got exactly what we deserved and to see so many players in poor form at the same time is a worry. Just have to hope they all find their form at the same time. Wednesday would be a good time to find it...Imagine Eden Hazard against us in this form...enjoy your weekend

Nuno isn't going to change the formation, I don't think. He needs to find a way to make it work. I am worried for him because we have just come through two matches we would be expecting to get at least four points from and have got nothing. Now we have a nasty run up to Christmas, and we could be sitting down to Christmas dinner still on our current points total. If that did turn out to be the case I think Nuno would be very close to the brink.

I don't think we will bin Nuno on his first run of bad form. I think they will be serious moves in January though and Uncle Jorge will be instructed to bring some in and tell a few Spanish/Portugese clubs to expect a new signing or 2 from Wolves.

I just think our setup works mostly on biggest teams..against lesser teams we should do the approach in another way..bet Nuno sees this too

I can see why we’re so desperate to get Kessie from AC Milan, he’s exactly what we need in midfield

That’s because bigger teams give us space to play. Smaller teams absolutely don’t and we can’t handle it.

Didn't realise we were in for him, would be a great signing. But first team for Milan to Wolves...?

We have also been linked to Keita Balde which would suggest we are looking at the forward line again

We really should be looking at good forwards

Exacttly what I said..so change the gameplay/foemation..
