Cardiff 2 -1 Wolves: The Pantwetting Verdict.

Against a slow defence he should have merit in his pace. We can ping a ball out wide and let him charge after it. But I can't see him being a starter for us. His assets seem to be all aimed to impact sub status. I hope we can train him into something more than he is at the moment. But every supporter of teams where he has been before (bar Middlesbrough) seems to say he has the footballing brain issue that has been outlined.

I don't know why Boro was the outlier. Presumably being the outlet for Pulis ball plays to his strengths. One thing is clear, the Nuno method of playing definitely doesn't at the moment. Early days in his Wolves career, but we simply cannot afford to carry him. Same as we cannot afford to carry Costa at the moment, or indeed Jota and Cav if they don't buck their ideas up. We desperately NEED end product from our wider forwards. And if we don't get it from these players, we will buy it from elsewhere in January.

you should make your own mind up, not trusting fake news like Trump

What was the rest exactly?

One good cross for the headed Jiminez chance against Huddersfield.

One good run at Old Trafford where he then bollocked it onto the train line rather than playing Gibbs White for a tap in.

One good run at Arsenal, where he hesitated and Leno did excellently to frustrate him.

Other than that, I am really struggling.

No Fred, Traore has one goal and no assists. In terms of raw end product he has given us nothing for exactly three months.

It's all theoretical, wow, what happens if this comes to something when he beats two men 50 yards from goal. Never does though.

Bit harsh, not his fault Raul couldn't finish against Huddersfield for example.

For actually quality of crossing Traore is probably one of the best we have. Doesn't say much about the rest of the team tho.

There was the run at Arsenal that set up MGW to hit the woodwork.

Raul did very well to get as much on that as he did, it's not like Traore rolled it along the line for him.

Well yeah, when I was on about xA stats the other day and how Adama is 2-3 down on where he "should" be, I said that probably isn't because he crosses like a flange.

But Fred was specifically on about "if he does something to make us score or win a game". So that'll be one goal then.

OK, turn around on minutes that other front 3 what they have created...give me the answers if he is that shit like you think?

Isnt the game about scoring and winning games?

Yep, we just need the Premier League to grant us 30 points for beating West Ham and we're sorted.

Viva Adama! Thanks for saving us.

haha, hilariuos answer

All will be fine then if we get rid of Doc and Traore...right

I had my Christmas work party last night so missed the match and haven’t had a chance to watch it yet (will probably sit through it this evening), so I was hoping to read through some proper verdicts on here, but instead the last three pages have turned in to a Adama Traore debate, AGAIN.

Seriously lads, change the fucking record. Every. Single. Verdict. Thread.

This is the cycle.

- Adama plays. He isn't very good.

- Verdicts come in saying "Adama wasn't very good".

- The ADF pile in "You've never liked him, so biased, it's so unfair, he made one good run, it's more than X did all game, he makes things happen (except when they don't, with his 0 goals and 0 assists in three months)"

- "Not really the point is it, he's not very good"

- Circular argument

- Drunk Fred piles in

I'd much rather not talk about him, personally. In fact I'd rather he wasn't at the club as at this level, he is shit.

Tbf there is plenty of decent talk on the game on the thread before that all kicked off. Again. So quit your whining.

That's because you have two very distinct camps. Traore is Wolves Brexit. One side see that he is frustrating but offers something different the other side can see few positives in his signing and what he offers the team. There seems little mid ground. Suggest we just start a Traore thread and let those who want to debate him do so on there and leave it off verdicts lol

Alternative view of the cycle:

1. Whole team play poorly.

2. Verdicts pile in saying Traore is shit.

3. People say that's a bit harsh everyone is poor

4. Replies of 'god he's shit, that's some world class whataboutery' etc

5. Rince and repeat

I'll happily have an Adama Amnesty on non-verdict threads for a while.

However it's not really going to work when the question is "how did everyone play" and my verdict for him is "shite". Leaving aside that others also got the same verdict of "shite".

I'm not picking on him, the easiest way for this to get fixed is for him to learn how to play football rather than whatever the fuck it is he tries to play.

That was my original point though. I've just been back and read your original verdict. Only one player got a review of shit, guess who?

I don't think I'm a Traore fanboi, as I've said numerous times i wouldn't play him and would happily have him only as a sub. I do think we should focus on more in verdicts than just Traore. He's not the problem imo.
