Games against solid mid table citizens like Wolves, Everton and Man Utd are our bread and butter this year.
Good game so far, Wolves very good at switching play.
Wolves are pretty sharp - good blend of defence and attack. Good at packing the box too
Wolves are a really decent side - both Keita and Bobby were bullied off the ball - that said, they (Wolves) are making mistakes as well since they're not used to being pressed either.
The first goal stopped them in their tracks. They picked it up again and looked very threatening again . . . As we knew. Wolves are really good.
Can't remember any other team pressing us to this extent in the league
Wolves will feel hard done to. They’ve played very well and had several shots on target.
They are a very good side . . . hope they finish well after this game.
Wolves are a good team can see why they are so difficult to play against
They’re a decent team, probably the best we’ve played since in the league since City.
That was a very good win against a very good side.
We were better attacking with MGW but equally Liverpool had more chances when Moutinho went off.Personally I thought we looked much better going forward after the subs. MGW is better than Moutinho now for me. He's class and moves the ball forward with purpose. And Cav is just a much better footballer than Traore with better creativity (though I could do without the attempted fancy flicks).
The only issue for me was Liverpool were just keeping the ball and not giving us many opportunities to utilise it.
Some of us have made our way onto RAWK. Quite nice to see some mutual respect between the two fora and two sides.
Compared to some of the nonsense on the dark side* trying to encourage the singing of those idiotic songs, it is a bright spot.

You have done better than I have then - despite trying to register it just won't accept me and keeps throwing up errors in the process to the point when I couldn't be bothered to go on
Did have a few of them who were in the Premier last night & were in the Bluebrick when I went in after the game who weren't uncomplimentary
The offensive songs only appeared to come from the nearest block to them in the South Bgank
Oh - I haven't registered. Simply that quotes from me, Tredman, Jinky and one other poster have been put on there by a RAWK reader as a way of showing that forum that we are (mostly) a decent bunch.

Despite the loss was proud of the way we tried to take the game to them - they are at the level we need to aspire to & Salah's movement is a joy to watch. We had some chances and a late goal for us, which could have occurred, would have made the last few minutes very interesting.
Not sure that Moutinho instead of MGW or Traore instead of Cavaleiro made us any better. Can understand Traore be given his head to try and outpace them on the break as he is supposedly one of the fastest in the PL - if so van Dijk hasn't been told as he kept pace & dispossessed him anyway.
We were not embarrassed in any way against a team that is so far the only real challenger to take the title off Man City. They have the better team & it showed.
A lot of good performances - Doherty, Saiss, Jonny (who was the right starter for this one though Vinagre gave us extra go forward when he came on & should probably start v Fulham whose defence is in no way comparable to Liverpool's), Jiminez.
We still have as many points as we got in our last PL full season & are not quite at the halfway stage!
(PS a big thank you to the BMW Series 5 driver who decided at the very last second to exit the M5 at junction 13 nearly taking me & a lady driver in a Ford Ka off with him - I don't normally wish ill will, injury or death to anyone & hope that you got to your destination. However keep driving like that and you probably won't for much longer. That will be your own fault, but just hope that you don't take any one else with you
No shame in that whatsoever. Very unfortunate to go in behind at HT and we never let the game run away from us. They are a seriously good team and we gave them a seriously good game.
Don't think I'll ever see Doherty play better than he did first half, even pinged a couple of tremendous cross field passes. Where did that come from?!
Disappointing on both goals but this is what happens when you switch off for a split second against players of this quality.
Neves wasn't as bad as is being made out, defensively he did a really good job (apart from the goal!). But his use of the ball isn't quite there at the moment.
Moutinho didn't work for me in that role, tried hard but didn't influence the game in any meaningful way.
Salah and van Dijk are both ridiculous, the movement of the former is even better than Aguero. The other is just a rock.
Jimenez was also superb in the first half, everything stuck to him and he took up so many good positions.
Traore...sorry, he's just not for me. He was *better* last night but it's really not saying much. His awareness is so bad and he never looks like scoring.
Rui still can't kick and it can't be excused.
MGW and Saiss had our best two chances, you never know if one of them had gone in.
Really enjoyed it as a game of football, on to Boxing Day.
