Verdict: Sunderland 2 Wolves 0

Oh, did anyone else think it was a handball (i don't) and that Munetsi did get fouled (i did) Commentary said he got the ball, the ball didn't appear to get contact at all to me?

Also a moment in the first half when two of their lads crashed into oneanother and he gave a foul against JSL was outrageous. They scored not long after.
Looked a dive from Munetsi to me. If there was contact it was minimal. Handball would be harsh

Handball would have been harsh, definitely hit his hand though.

The MM one was really clumsy from Rigg (?) I thought he was lucky. Seen them given.

I won't mention the foul throws again, and the length of time he was allowed to take taking them, and that he wasn't even drying the ball, just standing there for 30 seconds.

There were no bookings today! That can't happen often.

Teams like wolves never usually get to the level we did. We were fucking there, but them every single decision after that has been flawed.

Weve had one decent manager in all of fosuns tenure, one. Others have had spells but nothing like good enough.

It's all on the way Fosun decided to run things. A few decent signings here and there but every season has been us get worse.
I’m of the feeling they came in at the right time, had the connection with Jorge, got the players, romped the league and thought this is easy.
Got promoted, stayed up, I think that was about the time Jeff was banging on about champions league and winning titles, qualified for Europe, they’re still thinking this is easy, still riding their luck.
Then I think they looked at how much it would cost or realised it’d cost a fortune to push on, Fosun bottled it and tried to do it on the cheap, since then the cheapness has chipped away at us and well here we are

Fosun and their inability to identify players and staff who will help the club have totally hobbled us. Maybe the Chinese government tightening control on overseas investment played a part, but really it's primarily down to Fosun mismanaging how they spend what money Wolves have. Getting relegated clearly wasn't in the plan to flip Wolves for a tidy profit - hence the panics in January - but sooner or later the inevitable happens. The biggest f**k you to the fans was the benchmarking of season ticket prices against the 'big' clubs even as they withdrew investment and started to rely on player sales. Real classy.

See my worry I have expressed before is they still wont have any interest in selling whilst there will be parachute money (or whatever the modern term for that is), as that is going to artificially inflate the value and make them want to hand on.

I'd say Fosun have been 'mugged off'. Totally out of their depth.

How would you sum up Fosun ownership?
Over promised and under delivered.
The open letters and interviews from Jeff with one contradicting the other.
Making out our situation is by design as opposed to catalogue of stupid errors.
This has a potential to get really messy whilst they run the club. Let’s not forget we were hovering just a point above the drop in March of their first season at the club in the championship.
They struck gold with Nuno who knew very well how to structure and organise an effective playing and coaching staff.

We were heading nowhere under Morgan and they deserve gratitude for 2017-2020 (I don't think 'luck' comes into it).

They since ceded all control to an idiot who doesn't know what he's doing so we've been a haphazard mess for 5 years.

They won't leave us lumbered with debt or needing to buy our own ground back or anything, but they squandered an obvious opportunity to build a legacy. Instead the glory 3 years are just good memories, nothing more.

The ticketing debacle is an absolute disgrace.

Plus they re-signed Matt Doherty. I take it as a personal insult.

I haven’t posted here in quite a while as I’ve been very unwell these last few months (and continue to be so) although I have looked on in once in a while and with all the negativity around the club (and deserved it is) I simply couldn’t muster the energy to repeat the same talking points.

Onto the game last night which pretty well confirms that the club is hurtling towards relegation which has been largely due to the mis-managed and incompetent ownership and guidance by Fosun/Shi, since the days of Nuno.

I echo what has been said on this thread and regrettably I can say now I simply don’t care anymore about the club in its current state, and probably won’t again until there is total reset i.e. new ownership which will have to be realigned in the Championship after the inevitable relegation (which has only been a matter of when not if these last few years).

I still love the club (and what it used to stand for) and its past but I no longer have any emotional attachment to the current ownership, players and management - life is too short (which I’m now well aware of now) to waste my time on it anymore.

Hope your health improves soon mate. Enjoy the good bits of your life as much as you can and Wolves will still be here when you're ready

The only solution I can see is that they need to try out some of the younger players who haven’t been given a chance yet (Mane for example). The players he is picking are clearly not good enough.

Sorry for you. Hope things perk up on all fronts.

Hope you get better soon keep fighting, my sentiments about the club are the same. Love the club but have no time for the current custodians. I was offered a free ticket for Burnley but turned it down. Staying at home and turning it off if goes bad is more appealing as is doing most other things currently.
Of lost the energy to get angry about it now which just proves my utter apathy to the whole situation.

The bad transfer window was highlighted again yesterday, only Krejci played the full 90 and only Arias started also.
3 others got less than 15 minutes and the other got nothing.
Tchatchaou, Wolfe look way below PL standard, Arias looks at best a squad player. Tolu we don’t know as he doesn’t get enough time, Lopez would have been a good signing in the squad from 2017-2021 not now, Leaves only Krejci who seems to have settled pretty well 1/6 so far we needed at least 4 to slot straight in and be at PL level.
This is the problem when you buy you’re 2nd-3rd choice signings because a lot of your main targets saw better offers around.
