What are you currently listening to....

Yeah, Hot Space is gash. Sheer Heart Attack and Night At The Opera are my favourites.

I think

News of the World
Live Killers
Sheer Heart Attack
Night at the Opera
Live At Wembley
Queen II
Day at the Races
Jazz
A Kind of Magic
Queen
The Works
Innuendo
The Miracle
The Game
Flash
Hot Space

Your mileage may vary obviously

Made In Heaven?

I also wouldn't count the live albums.

Discounting the live albums I'd go:

Day at the Races
Sheer Heart Attack
News of the World
Night at the Opera
Queen II
The Works
Innuendo
The Miracle
Jazz
A Kind of Magic
Queen
The Game
Flash
Hot Space

Made in Heaven is pretty good. Beautifully constructed as I remember. Probably only listened to it about twice so hard to place it off the top of my head. Live Killers is a seminal work so I wanted that in, which then meant I couldn't leave Live at Wembley out.

Well I'll go with:

A Night At The Opera
Sheer Heart Attack
News of the World
A Day At The Races
Made In Heaven
Innuendo
Queen
Queen II
Jazz
The Works
A Kind of Magic
The Miracle
The Game
Flash
Hot Space

Interesting that we all put Game, Flash, Hot Space as the weakest output. Not a good couple of years in Queen-land, even allowing for the Battle music on Flash.

I've put Queen Live At Wembley '86 on the telly - Mini Langers' request. He's absolutely spellbound by it!

Agreed. On reflection I'd put flash last.
Hot Space at least has Under Pressure, and The Game (which I have on vinyl) has Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Another One Bites The Dust on, so they're not complete barren spells.

The Game has Save Me as well. Top tune. And Hot Space has Put Out The Fire and Las Palabras De Amor as well as Under Pressure. Sadly, I find the rest of that album really awful!

Flash is a bit of an anomaly as it's mainly instrumentals and was written for an incredibly cheesy film, so I reckon Hot Space is their only album I really can't listen to with the exception of the above tracks.

Listening to Breakfast in America by Supertramp. A classic, and another album I've not heard in bloody ages.

I can't believe this album is 22 years old! I still adore it (and the band) as much now as I did when I was 14. I'm so pleased they reformed last year with the original line up, the new album is pretty good too. We may both be 22 years older but I'm still a little bit in love with Louise Post.

I have only just noticed the Queen conversation on here. They are a band that I have never considered listening to for whatever reason. Maybe I should rectify that.

You definitely should. Awesome band.

I've just started a 3 month Spotify premium trial so may well give them a listen. Especially as you have helpfully listed their albums from best to worst.

Just go for the greatest hits albums first.
