West Ham 0 v 1 Wolves: The Verdict Thread

Massive shout out to Ryan Bennett. Been fucking quality so far this season, exceeding what most people thought possible oh him, fair play to him.

Yes. Four games so far, four 8-9/10 performances.

Masuaku cannot defend at all but he can at least run. Cresswell is solid enough if you don't ask him to chase after people and good off dead balls but needs someone diligent in front of him against a team like us (a bit like Baz really).

I thought Cresswell was very lucky not to be red carded when he thrust his forearm into Docherty. Agree with the other posters on the form of Costa and particularly Jota. Thought Bennett played well, but Patricio was simply magnificent. He is the player who won the three points today. That save from Antonio's header with his weaker hand was, yet again, outstanding; not to mention the save that nearly knocked his head off. Both he and Moutinho are superb additions to the squad.

Apologies, double post.

He got smacked in the mush with the ball :icon_lol:

Fat man with the medical cart came out as it's about two miles to the tunnel at that shitheap of a ground.

Yeah in the end worked that out haha!

Never really paid much attention the West ham ground before (should do I suppose since I'm part paying for it), but what the actual fuck is it doing having a massive advertising hoarding behind one goal?

Shit ground, shit fans and shit team.

todays win netted me a free pizza. :tiphat:

I just realised that Nuno is now the third most successful wolves manager in the premier league knocking Terry Connor down to fourth!

Knocking TC down to 4th is probably the least impressive thing Nuno has done

Reviews of the ground from my lot were not favourable.

It’s so, so weird.

I hadn’t really watched many of West Ham’s home games but even then I wasn’t expecting it to be that flat. Plenty of empty seats too and being so far from the pitch just feels wrong.

The gap between the dug outs and the technical area is amazing. Think Nuno called an Uber when he wanted to go back to his seat

Just tweeted a change

Hang on, hang on, Editor has changed his mind: Brighton v Fulham will now be Match 4.

So we are now before the Everton game. Not last I suppose

TC should count himself lucky to be 4th out of 4 the absolutely lacrimonious lightweight.

I never count TC in the equation.

Dave Jones can now hang his head in shame as that means that Mick McCarthy (1 game) and Nuno (2 games) have beaten his 19 attempts at getting a PL away win.

Massive praise for us on BT Sport just, especially from Jermaine Jenas.

Is that Cresswell looking for his second sending off of the match!
