West Ham 0 v 1 Wolves: The Verdict Thread

There was a great shout on a cross in the 2nd half. Doc was about to go for a header but the West Ham player he was with gave up. Clearly fearing for another thunderous top corner striker I think his shout blew his head off and the ball went out for a goal kick

Yep heard that! Doc just ducked! Another call to Boly who then got bollocked for not listening.

Keepers bollock defenders, defenders have a go back. The way it should be (not in a Hennessey/Johnson way).

Keep the standards high.

9th in the table, btw [emoji16]

Can go either side there I suppose. If he's anticipating one across him then he's been wrongfooted.

If West Ham have their own version of my highly successful thread which has no bickering whatsoever then they will blame Sanchez first up for his awful midfield dallying and then one of Balbuena/Diop for not pressing (Balbuena probably).

Think Traore has hit it too hard for Fabianski to be able to get to it quick enough anyway.

Lol, who was that who just let Traore run off him for the goal? I mean, he was never going to catch him anyway, but to not even look or try to mark him, shite. Tried a little sly trip which didn't work either!

Aaron "The Milkfloat" Cresswell.

We played on him just as other teams (well, every team) plays on Doc.

Cheers. They were all clamouring for him to come back in for Masuaka too today. And he was shite.

Masuaku cannot defend at all but he can at least run. Cresswell is solid enough if you don't ask him to chase after people and good off dead balls but needs someone diligent in front of him against a team like us (a bit like Baz really).

Doc was better than Jonny today going forward and defensively. Thought it was Docs best game in the premier league. His crossing still needs to improve but he gets two efforts on target and tries to beat people on the outside. Jonny did a passable Ashley Young impression today for me.

Checked that West Ham forum that was put up in the build up thread. To say they are having a meltdown would be an understatement.

Massive shout out to Ryan Bennett. Been fucking quality so far this season, exceeding what most people thought possible oh him, fair play to him.

The really nice thing about Rui too is he comes from a cross and he collects it so cleanly. My one worry with Ruddy last year is when he would drop/to dkwn a cross. They brought a stretcher out when he went down was genuinely concerned he had a bad injury in that second half

He got smacked in the mush with the ball :icon_lol:

Fat man with the medical cart came out as it's about two miles to the tunnel at that shitheap of a ground.
