I'd be on the DoF's side there. JWP is about as mobile as Anderton when he played for us.

Not exactly good PR there, surely if the DoF had said "more mobile alternatives" nobody would have batted an eye? I know the pundits tend to rate JWP but even they seem to know he's got tungsten in his boots.

Absolutely. I bet he'd make good money calling it quits with football and getting a job as a placekicker in the NFL. Always seems to translate (which I don't fully understand tbh, given the balls are quite different shapes, but c'est la vie).

In the annals of forgotten great Wolves free kicks, Adam Hammill vs Millwall is up there.

And if that's not the most Dave Edwards of Dave Edwards goals to open the scoring, I don't know what is.

James Spray had his Big Moment robbed off him. Went down as Vokes' goal in the end.

I enjoyed Big George popping up for his tap-in as well. Cracking highlights.

Foster and this complete wanker* in the same team, yuck.

Large

(Not because I rage at him not wearing a poppy or anything like that, he's just an awful person)

His eyes are so close together he's like a fucking Cyclops

Kudus is an absolutely outstanding signing for Brighton. Superb player.

I find him quite an odd player. What's his best position?

Inverted winger in the Prem, if I had to guess.

Always looked better centrally when I've seen him but he's constantly out of position when defending. I think it'll be quite an expensive error for Brighton.

Yeah I don't think you can count on him centrally at this level at all. Best to start him out wide, isolate/drag out the fullback or centerback, let some of Brighton's other players take advantage of the chaos. Brighton are excellent at doing that (creating chaos/isolating defenders that are out of position) just in general, though, so I imagine Kudus will fit well. If he goes to, say, Arsenal, next? I'm less sold on him making that step up.
