The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2017/18

Everyone hates West Ham, it's not just us.

Firstly West Midlanders dislike cockneys, secondly West Ham fans have a sense of entitlement only rivaled by Geordie's, thirdly the whole West Ham Way/Academy of Football shite, fourthly the way they burgled a new ground, finally the porno dwarves and Karen "it's disrespectful to suggest I'd ever have a relationship with a player" Brady.

Sense of entitlement is right. Mate of mine is a west ham fan and he has enough sense to not be like your average hammer. Even he thought they could get Ancelotti though ffs.

Why do we hate West Ham, exactly?

Hate is a terrible word, and one I prefe not to use.

Regarding football, I have no feeling either way for West Ham United. The only team that I hope lose every week are the Albion.

Don't mind West Ham but seriously dislike their owners.

Their sense of entitlement is huge. So many awful fans, which isn't an excuse every club has their fair share, but there seems to be a larger quantity amongst the Hammers. The "We won the world cup" statement doesn't get old either...

“The Academy of Football” winds me up even more. A lot of clubs could easily claim that title I’d say Man Utd academy over the years makes West Ham look small time.

Doesn't every supporter feel entitled, just a little?

West Ham take it to a new level.

My brother is a hammer (bastard) and he has spent years telling me how they play football properly and Wolves don't.

Looking forward to that particular worm turning over the next few years.

Trouble is they may be in a different division!

The West Ham way? Whatever that is.
The clowns calling for Redknapp to take charge because he’s a West Ham man. Just highlights the naivety of some football fans.

Move to the Olympic stadium was a fuck up but its karma. The porno dwarves (c) got that place for a song but its proved to be a jinx for the team. Pissing myself. Arrogant little twats. A couple of years in the championship will do them good

I've never had a problem with West Ham. The fans I knew at uni were absolutely sound so I don't really want them to go down for their sake.

Can't abide the Porn Barons though.

Funny thing is I think West Ham fans actually have quite a favourable view of us. I remember reading on KUMB after the cup game a few years ago and they were all praising our club/fans.

Personally I've never had a problem with the club, just a mild dislike of their owners. The move to the LS doesn't make me hate them, just makes me feel sorry for their fans. The club they used to support is dead.

And to give them credit, their hate of Paul Ince is astonishing :)

I can't stand West Ham because of the fans I knew growing up basically, particularly as I played for a team that mostly was players from Essex who majority supported West Ham of course. Sense of entitlement yes, and the 'West Ham' way which growing up I still have no idea what that looks like. They get what they deserve with Moyes.

If you want to observe a sense of entitlement go and have a look over at the other Wolves forum. It's embarrassing.

I never have a problem with West Ham and always found their fans good fun. The Bongo Boys are unpleasant and the way they got the stadium unfortunately tarnishes them as a club and I feel sorry for the fans for that as it was nothing to do with them.

Plenty of opposition fans think Wolves fans are entitled. I see it on most forums I go on. Especially now we look good and are crowing about our manager/players and getting promoted again.

Oh, I totally agree. If I supported a different team, I'd probably be pretty anti- Wolves. I can see why plenty of fans dislike us.

I don't really 'hate' anyone but do get enjoyment out of seeing Birmingham, Villa and Bolton fail. Most of my dislike of West Ham comes from their current owners and the stadium. Plus, from my experience, their fans are a bit cunty but I find that with most fans of the bigger London clubs.

I only really dislike Albion when we are playing them as it's a matter of local pride. On the whole I think they are alright. Most Albion fans I know are pretty decent. I have never met a Blues fan that wasn't a knob, however.

Amazing how everyone says that, I know plenty of albion & stoke fans and all are pretty decent, same goes for most villa fans too. Blues fans are just knobs though.
